Unlike summer camps, boot camps won't require you to put on a fund-raising talent show to stop a nefarious computer company from turning Lake Cowabunga into its new industrial-waste depository. Team up to fight unfitness with today's deal: for $40, you get a four-week boot-camp program at Rock'N Body Boot Camps in Sussex. This Groupon is for new members only.
Rock'N Body's boot-camp program meets three times per week for four weeks. Despite the challenging workouts, folks from every walk of the fitness path are encouraged to participate. Over the course of each session, trained instructors guide fledgling fitness-seekers through 30- to 45-minute long bursts of intense exercises that primarily use the body's own weight for resistance and strength-building. Despite the fact that the human body is the primary tool, workouts do occasionally incorporate dumbbells, stability balls, resistance bands, and a TRX suspension trainer (essentially a portable apparatus used for all manner of resistance-based exercises). Participants will flex, balance, and bend amongst a group of like-minded potential friends, with whom to share woes, triumphs, and tales of being able to lift all seven wonders of the ancient world thanks to newly toned biceps.
In addition to providing the friendly motivation and encouragement needed to get past initial exercise hurdles, the Rock'N Body team also provides "done for you" meal plans written by a registered dietician, specially designed to increase the success of weight-loss goals while satisfying even the pickiest taste buds and fueling active bodies. The stress of picking the right foods will be eliminated so that you can stop writing grocery lists in your favorite notebook and make room instead for the final chapter of your murder-mystery novel.
Though there aren't any reviews for Rock'N Body Boot Camps, members rave about their results:
- When I worked out at a gym or by myself, I never pushed myself as hard as I do at Rock'N Body. I leave each workout feeling like I really accomplished something. – Heidi
- This boot camp has been an awesome experience for me. I have lost over 20 pounds to date, and have no intentions of slowing down. – Bob
Fitness Revolution dedicates all the center's resources to helping individuals work toward their own fitness aspirations. Group classes meet throughout the week in the 2,000-square-foot facility, where attendees of all fitness levels hone their technique and send calories scattering under her watchful eye. In keeping with their passion for interval training, Fitness Revolution's programs cycle through intense cardio blasts interspersed with metabolic resistance training that build muscle and boost metabolism. Meal plans written by a registered dietitian and occasional fitness assessments help attendees stick to their fitness goals outside of class, where they have to face the reality of readily available snacks and the constant hectoring of the Kool-Aid man.
