Very good food and environment but the second time I went there we ordered the all u can eat special. Little did we know they wanted to eat every piece of sushi, considering we had only 4-5 pieces left. It was not even equivalent to a whole role. I understand that it is made fresh and not a buffet, but the way the acted about it really made me mad. How can you force people to eat ALL their food!?!?

What You'll Get

When deprived of flavorful sustenance, the mouth will often retaliate by shouting your bank-account number at sporting events or turning every sentence into a high-pitched jingle. Tame an unruly tongue with today’s Groupon: for $10, you get $20 worth of Japanese fare at Sake Japanese Restaurant in Virginia Beach.

Sake tickles taste buds with a mountainous menu of artfully presented Japanese dishes. Amp up your appetite with starters such as lightly breaded scallop tempura ($6.95) or tuna tataki ($8.95). Creatively presented sushi rolls fill the cylindrical void in stomachs with options such as the vegetarian-friendly Farm roll, packed with lettuce, carrot, avocado, and cucumber and crowned with seaweed salad ($7.95), and a specialty cucumber-, tamago-, tuna-, and crab-padded Butterfly roll, reinforced with flying buttresses of shrimp and avocado ($9.95). Dive chopsticks first into a steak teriyaki dinner entree with white rice and steamed Asian vegetables ($14.95) or shrimp-, scallop-, and crab-laced seafood soba noodles ($12.95). Lunch specials, which run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays, range from shrimp tempura served with soup and rice ($6.95) to customizable lunch-box meals ($6.95).

A wall of cherry blossoms peeks out from behind the sleek sushi counter as water flows serenely across a separate, much wetter wall. The restaurant's namesake sake selection keeps flowing when the eatery transforms into a dance club at 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.
