- $48 for one ticket to a Capitola culinary walking tour (up to $75 value)
The walking tour traces the cultural and architectural history—as well as the culinary offerings—of the colorful town of Capitola. During the tours, groups of 6–12 walkers stop at four local favorites—including Geisha Sustainable Sushi and The Quail & Thistle Tea Room—for included samples of signature dishes. Tours are held Thursdays at 2:30 p.m., covering 2.3 miles until the tour wraps up around 6 p.m.
Santa Cruz Food Tour
Local guides call upon their passions for both history and culinary scenes to share their wisdom during their afternoon walking tours. The Santa Cruz food tour eschews the more touristy spots along the boardwalk and wharf. Between tastings, the guides impart anecdotes about the neighborhood’s architecture and rich cultural history. They also happily arrange tours that accommodate vegetarian diets.
