The puzzle architects at Shea’s Maze in Corn entertain families and runaway scarecrows with a perplexing and amusing labyrinth scattered across 5 corn-covered acres of the historic Gettysburg farm. Carved through the site of the Civil War’s sole jack-o’-lantern contest, lopped corn paths beckon children and their guardians with ambling twists and turns and three along-the-route challenges. Upon completing the maze, children can plot carving designs or reinvent the way H-O-R-S-E is played while choosing their very own pumpkin from a selection of standard basketball-sized squashes. Before patrons head home, they can wrap up their harvest-time holiday by visiting farm animals, including geese, sheep, and kittens that are bound to elicit belly rubs.

Customer Reviews

Really nice people and it's lovely in the moonlight!

Shea's is a wonderful place to bring the whole family. I liked allowing our 3 year old make decisions that the whole family followed. It gave him a sense of worth and made him feel special. We had a good time and it wasn't too long for our 2 year old. The kittens were an unexpected treat.

We really enjoyed the corn maze. Our 3 yr old daughter enjoyed seeing the kittens and decorating her pumpkin. It was really nice to participate in a family oriented activity in Gettysburg without the emphasis on the presence of ghosts. We look forward to coming again next year!
