What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Wine, beer, and food tastings included in ticket price. Local chefs prepare dishes from locally grown food: Caribbean pig roast, jerk chicken, saffron rice and more. Premium wine and beer tasting: Dancing Coyote, Domaine Carneros, Flora Springs, Michael David, Raymond Vineyards and others.
What is the experience customers can expect?
Experience a fun afternoon by the waterfront sitting under umbrellas, enjoying delicious freshly prepared food, while sipping regional wine and beer. There are educational seminars for the curious and and art and things to buy for the shopper. Dancing in the street is optional but encouraged.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
The Slow Food Festival helps to bring awareness about the importance of sustainable agriculture, and the role Rio Vista, and Delta producers, ranchers, and purveyors play in the food supply chain.
