Before photography, the only way people could preserve their most treasured memories was by forcing everyone around them to stand completely still for days at a time. Today's Groupon presents a less complicated option: for $29, you get a digital-photography workshop from SnapClasses.com (a $59 value). The workshop is scheduled for Saturday March 26, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Hilton Columbia Center.
SnapClasses.com's photography professionals impart fledgling photogs with digital picture-taking knowledge during the four-hour workshop. The class is divided into three parts—digital basics, taking better pictures, and what to do after the shoot—to cover all aspects of digital photography. Each camera crusader will learn shutter-snapping fundamentals, such as how to understand camera functions, how to manipulate settings to obtain desired effects, and how to react when your camera asks you to focus. Students will also study backgrounds, foregrounds, and how to get up-close and personal without agitating touchy subjects. Before class ends, amateur paparazzi will become adept at eliminating pesky instances of red-eye and learn how to print perfectly captured pictures of cabbage heads that resemble Pete Rose.
There are few reviews available online for Snap Classes, but there are testimonials available on its website:
