Thanks for running the Groupon, it was a great opportunity to bring a friend out for a special dinner that I couldn't have afforded otherwise. Also, she loved Stella's too, it was her first visit!

Glad I had a groupon because I would have been disappointed if I had to pay $150 for dinner. Not really worth it. Food was great but not that good or filling.

Lobster was not hot enough

What You'll Get

Menus are laminated to prevent staining from diners’ spilled coffee or attempts to pen “lobster” into every item’s description. Get the dish you really want with today’s Groupon for lobster-bake dinners at Stella’s Fish Cafe. Choose between the following options:

  • For $75, you get a lobster-bake dinner for two valid Monday–Thursday (a $150 value).

  • For $75, you get a lobster-bake dinner for two valid Friday–Sunday (a $150 value).

The dinner includes the following: * Two whole Maine lobsters served in a kettle with seafood and veggies * Two house salads * Two bar beverages (up to an $8 value each) * Large slice of triple-layer chocolate cake

Due to live lobsters, reservations are required.<p>

Stella’s Fish Cafe’s executive chef, Chad Rasmussen, presides over an award-winning array of maritime provisions, including lobsters flown in from Boston daily, before serving the hearty fare to the two-floor dinning room, an in-kitchen table, or a skyline rooftop patio. Here, waiters present challenges to hearty eaters in the form of calculus equations and two whole Maine lobsters balanced in a kettle of shrimp, mussels, andouille sausage, spinach, and potatoes. Two leafy house salads bookend meals opposite a slice of decadent, triple-layer chocolate cake. Imbibers sample an alcoholic assortment of mojitos, martinis, and signature cocktails to complement the dinner. As the weather warms, diners can pull up seats on the rooftop deck deemed one of the best views in the Twin Cities by Minnesota Monthly in 2009 and “the worst place to land a plane” by pilots all the time.

About Stella's Fish Cafe

At Stella's Fish Cafe, chefs assemble a sizzling menu of maritime lunch and dinner fare that spotlights fresh sushi, oysters, and gluten-free grub in an exciting dining experience. Instead of taking in the casual confines of the dining room, guests may opt to sip cocktails beneath umbrella-covered tables on one of the two, 360-degree rooftop decks that boast stunning skyline views and were voted "Best Outdoor Dining" by Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine readers.

Every day, the eatery receives a shipment of lobsters flown in from Boston, ensuring that each succulent crustacean boasts just-from-the-ocean sweetness and a tiny Red Sox ball cap. Maki rolls and nigiri share real estate at the raw bar with more than 20 varieties of oysters hailing from New England, the Pacific Northwest, and Canada, and these mouthwatering mollusks can be prepared Japanese style, with ponzu and chives, or Mexican style, with citrus salsa and cilantro.
