What You'll Get
Adding water results in less floury biscuits, larger foam dinosaurs, and slides that won't give a shirtless cousin friction burn. Douse yourself in smooth-moving good times with today's Groupon: for $42, you get a 2011 general season pass to The Beach Waterpark, located in Mason (an $85 value).
The Beach Waterpark is a liquid paradise outfitted with palm trees, white sand, cascading waterfalls, and more than 50 attractions spread across 35 acres of rolling terrain. From May 21 to September 11, general season pass holders can escape sweltering summer days and land-locked doldrums by lining up for thrill rides.
Once suited with proper water wear, visitors can slip and slide their way down The Cliff's electrifying five-story drop or ride the longest slide, Volcanic Panic, which rockets riders through a 360-degree spiral and around a 180-degree horseshoe before a final plunge along the tropical rim of the Kahuna Beach Wavepool. Aquatic adrenaline junkies will relish the Aztec Adventure water coaster, which launches swimmers through 500 feet of whitecapped twists, turns, and drop-offs into a splash pool defended by immortal lifeguards.
After meeting their thrill quotas, guests can visit one of the park's more relaxing attractions—such as the Lazy Miami River, a 1,200-foot-long maritime maze modeled after George Washington's backyard waterpark—before enjoying a cheeseburger or hot dog at one of The Beach's restaurants and food stands. Additionally, members can enjoy unlimited access to waterpark events, such as Saturday Night Dive-In movies, Reggae Fest Sundays, and Dog Days, as well as 20% off food and merchandise and half-price admission for friends on Mondays and Wednesdays.
