I wish their bathroom is bigger especially when u have kids lol. The counter person is great and she’s very helpful as well as friendly. My kids were comfortable. Will recommend it to try for sure.

Definitely worth seeing. I went yesterday and there were 4 couples and 1 family of 4 above water. A few people scuba diving deep below. The people working said they cap the amount of people inside at 18 for COVID which seemed like a lot, but I didn't feel nervous being there with those listed above. Honestly the coolest part to me was wearing the mask and watching the scuba divers below.

Cool experience since I’ve never been to a hot spring before. I don’t think the people working there generally care for their job so don’t expect to be given background history or much info at all besides where the entrance is. Overall it’s worth the Groupon price to go but once is enough for me.

This experience was wonderful! The crater was beautiful, the water was warm and it was fun to snorkel. I just wish we had more than 40 mins to enjoy. I’d highly recommend for an afternoon activity!

About The Crater at Homestead Resort

From the outside, it's hard to tell The Crater at Homestead Resort even exists. You can only see the 55-foot limestone mound that sits over it, offering shelter and protection. But peer down through a hole in the stone—the same one that lets in sunlight and fresh air—and you'll discover an entire world below. It's a pool of snowmelt that gathered 2 miles deep in the ground over the past 10,000 years before percolating upward and gathering minerals along the way. The earth itself heats the water and the air around it to about 90–96 degrees. Guests walk through a tunnel at ground level to get to the geothermal pool, where they can swim and explore, scuba dive, snorkel, or take a yoga class atop standup paddleboards.
