What You'll Get
Like suntans and the ability to throw knives at apples on top of totem poles, golf skills disappear if you don't keep working at them. Keep the magic alive with today's Groupon: for $49, you get two private lessons from PGA professional Luke Benedict at Cimarron Trails Golf Club in Perkins (a $160 value).
For more than 15 years, Benedict has imparted turf tutelage to golfers of all skill levels. During the two one-hour sessions, Benedict analyzes the intricacies of students' game—such as backswings, putt techniques, and caddie piggyback rides—to identify any areas with room for improvement, and he will then assist golfers in polishing less-than-shiny skills. Each one-on-one outing takes place at Cimarron Trails' tactfully landscaped, par 72 course, allowing students to gussy up their game on a real course instead of at an indoor simulator or dining-room driving range.

About Cimarron Trails Golf Club
Cimarron Trails Golf Club has a driving range, and for good reason; golfers would do well to warm up before taking to the course. The scorecard may not indicate a tough start to the round, but the first three holes pose, at the very least, considerable psychological challenges. Each one forces golfers to elude a water hazard; the par-three second hole presents a challenging forced-carry from the tee box. Ponds come into play on seven holes throughout the course, which lobs and weaves over 6,959 yards of bentgrass greens and bermuda fairways. Bunkers are also a fixture throughout the round, though many serve as helpful visual guides as well as hazards and ideal places to bury broken golf carts.
