What You'll Get
Left to their own devices, children will chew through drywall, eat a four-course meal of crayons, and construct complex chromosome models using Legos. Keep kids healthily occupied and engaged with today’s Groupon: for $50, you get two sessions of summer camp at The Little Gym (a $100 value). This Groupon is valid at the Fairfield and Stamford locations until July 31.
The Little Gym's noncompetitive programs for youngsters aim to build motor skills and enhance physical, intellectual, and social development in kids ages 3–8. In each three-hour camp session, 20 tots careen like pinballs through obstacle courses, arts and crafts activities, and lectures on the Heisenberg uncertainty principle. Curricula based on a weekly theme—recent selections include Fantasy Castle and To Infinity…and Beyond—expand campers’ imaginations and understanding of quantum physics.
The Little Gym refuels tykes with a healthy snack and juice during the session, reducing incidents of children chewing through walls or venerable poets' beards. Children can consult The Little Gym's Fairfield schedule and Stamford schedule to see if other camps and classes—including developmental gymnastics, karate, and cheerleading—are worth canceling their power lunches for.

About The Little Gym
In 1976, educator, musician, and kinesiologist Robin Wes longed for a children's gym that prioritized personal growth over competition. Unveiled at a time when physical-education classes pushed students to focus almost exclusively on winning, Robin's program was swiftly adopted and is now used in more than 300 Little Gyms worldwide. Robin still pens original music to accompany lessons, which engage whippersnappers aged 4 months to 12 years with gymnastics, dance, karate, and parent and child activities.
Each of The Little Gym's classes introduces simple movements that sharpen motor skills and set brains whirring, allowing kids to progress at their own pace until they can finally build a computer out of macaroni and glitter. Staff members strive to build a base for lifelong social skills and self-assurance with each exercise, including activities rooted purely in fun, such as summer camps or birthday parties, which helped The Little Gym to earn title of #1 Birthday Chain in Parents Magazine.
