Choose Between Two Options
- $12 for $20 worth of Vietnamese food and drinks for two or more
- $19 for $35 worth of Vietnamese food and drinks for four or more
It would be accurate to describe VKitchen's Vietnamese cuisine as authentic, considering the restaurant actually began in southern Vietnam in the early '80s. After its success, the family expanded overseas, bringing the native flavors of their home country to Ann Arbor with a menu of pho, noodles, rice dishes, and bánh mì sandwiches. Their chicken curry, for instance, bathes rice and chicken a medium-spicy coconut-milk yellow curry, and a bánh mì's french baguette can filled with grilled pork, shrimp, lemongrass tofu, or fried eggs. Those latter options are by no means outliers—the menu features more than 10 vegetarian specialties, including vegan sticky rice and a tofu and veggie stir-fry. The effort that goes into the food is reflected in the décor, as well. Diners sit in a chandelier-lit space beneath an elegant ceiling patterned like a chessboard.
