The Revisionist is the second play penned by Jesse Eisenberg, the Oscar-nominated star of The Social Network and frequent New Yorker contributor. The drama centers around David, a young writer who arrives in Poland with a crippling case of writer's block and a strong desire to be left alone. Meanwhile, his elderly second cousin Maria welcomes him with an overwhelming need to connect with her American family. As their relationship develops, Maria reveals details about her postwar past that test their ideas of what it means to be a family. Eisenberg's exploration of obsession and secrets hits the stage at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.
