GROUPON SCAM ALERT! Groupon is in on this. They cancelled my driving appointments twice already and I bought this in December 2021. They don’t refund so forget about getting your money back when they purposely cancel on you. I spent $200+ on the voucher, insurance, video, and photo package for them to completely scam me and claim I have no way of getting my money back. Last time I ever use GROUPON

The car ride itself was a joy, but waiting for the available cars took a long time. We waited for about 2 hours! The cars were overheated and had to sit idle for a while.

Was never able to use this due to weather then inconvenient location then mother's death. Never received a refund and I paid for the extra video.

Definitely very disappointed. These people are so Misleading & pretty much a scam. Five-Lap Driving Experience at Portland Int’l Raceway race track? More like a Parking lot with Kids cones. I bought this gift for my husband's birthday & we waited about 3 months. We were so excited as my husband loves anything Cars. Our idea was he would get to do laps around the track & when we got there we were so shocked to see that they had basically set up a few cones in a parking lot next to the racetrack. It was a joke. My husband said he barley reached 60mph & the whole thing was literally less than 5 min. I paid extra to have a picture & go pro video... My Iphone would've taken a better picture and the go pro video was a complete joke. The first minute was of the staff trying to set it up. NO SOUND AND THE GOPRO WAS NOT ON My Husband it WAS FACING THE ROAD? I don't usually waste my time with writing bad reviews but the cherry on top was when my husband was done he was light heartedly telling a couple guys next to him that he thought he was going to go on the track and the lady working there sitting at her tent heard him and said. "Well you're only paying $100 what do you expect" Like are you kidding me?? Such a waste of money and what rude and poor quality service.

Internal-Combustion Engines: The Muscle in a Muscle Car

An oil change keeps all the parts of an engine moving smoothly. Peek under the hood with us to see why they need constant lubrication.

Beneath the guttural rumble of a car engine is an incredible amount of force. As soon as you step on the gas, fuel vapor mixed with air begins exploding, driving metal pistons in and out of chambers where temperatures regularly hit 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit. This enclosed system of pistons propelled by direct contact with burning gas defines an internal-combustion engine. (There is such a thing as an external-combustion engine, in which the heat is produced from outside the cylinder—as in the old-fashioned steam engines that people in the past used to make trains look extra friendly, for instance.)

The internal-combustion engine under the hood of the typical car completes its cycle in four stages, or strokes. First, fuel and air fill the cylinder as the piston drops. As the piston returns to the top of the cylinder, it (2) compresses the fuel mixture before (3) a spark from the spark plug ignites the mixture, the force of the explosion pressing the piston back down. Finally, the cylinder rises once more to push out the exhaust. As the crankshaft at the base of the pistons is kept turning by this constant cycle, it drives the rotation of the transmission, which applies all that power in a controlled fashion to the axles and, finally, sends you speeding down the road.
