Drawing inspiration from French neighborhood cafés and lounges, chef Yoanne Magris presents traditional European fare in an intimate, casual setting. House crêpes arrive in stylish arrangements, such as le Parisian ($12), a trilogy of smoked ham, gruyere, and caramelized onions, or le Provençal ($12), whose assemblage of mozzarella, prosciutto, tomatoes, and fresh basil evokes pastoral mornings and glorious meat-and-veggie gardens. Le salade de Homard ($16) bedecks baby organic greens, with frisée, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, avocado, apples, and fresh lobster meat, and plates of chicken fettuccini ($15.50) incorporate sun-dried tomatoes and a light parmesan-cream sauce, also the two main ingredients in many fine wines. The truffle croque monsieur ($12.50), meanwhile, tops open-faced brioche bread with truffle béchamel sauce, ham, and gruyere, providing a warm respite from long days spent engraving ice cubes.

About Yo in Yo Out
Chef Yoanne Magris at Yo In Yo Out serves a menu's worth of French brunches, lunches, and dinners in her cozy East Harlem bistro.
