Boot camps fend off exercise doldrums with rotating sets of cardio-hiking strength and resistance sets, and fitness enthusiasts can also avail themselves of other classes, including yoga, low-impact body sculpting, Zumba, and more. About Your Body Your Machine
When Shawn Rogers enlisted in the Army he was 50 pounds overweight. Intense training and discipline helped him trim down and gave his life a sense of purpose. But after he left the service, he slipped back into old habits by neglecting his health for the sake of a higher income. Fast forward to September 11, 2001. The tragedy inspired Shawn to leave his job and build the life he truly wanted. His sense of urgency led him to become a personal trainer as well. After working in several gyms, he opened Your Body Your Machine.
Shawn's clientele runs the gamut from nurses and correction officers to Diane Sawyer, co-anchor of Good Morning America. When she asked him to help some of her staff members, he launched the GMA Fit Club. This program helped the show's staffers lose up to 60 pounds and 10 inches.
