Great location Stayed for a multiple day event at the convention center. The location is great as it is directly across the street. The parking lot is tight with a full size truck. The room was as expected. I did not receive my cookie, just realized this while writing. The staff were very nice. The hotel resturant bar is good for a convenient meal.

Carefully consider your options before staying at the Double Tree Albuquerque Our stay at the Doubletree Hotel in Albuquerque was disappointing, to say the least. The hotel appeared rundown and neglected upon arrival. Our room was particularly disappointing; the shower curtain was broken, there were issues with the moulding, unclean walls, and the floor had a noticeable film that made it feel unclean. The coffee maker was also inexcusably dirty, with remnants of the previous guest's stay still present. Unfortunately, we ended up at the Doubletree because our original booking at the Embassy Suites fell through due to a lack of available rooms. This experience at the Doubletree left much to be desired, and I would caution anyone considering staying here to consider their options carefully.

Functional hotel - candidate to demolish, and start over Generously, this is a 2.5 star Hilton. Overall, the staff was friendly, there is an airport shuttle, and the location is optimal. The rooms are functional, and basic, very basic. Rooms are arranged differently, like a dormitory. The tub shower was extremely small and water pressure was barely usable. AC worked well and bed was comfortable. There are better properties unless this location is the most optimal. Nothing in ABQ is far, so consider wisely.

Not Hilton quality Me and 4 of my coworkers were here in NM for a training. This hotel was close by. Only real complaint was the elevators all breaking down forcing people to do the stairs. Some of the servers in the bar/restaurant were rude. They ran out of a lot of the items in the restaurant. The people that check you in had no personalities.

Unprofessional and unprepared When we showed up to check-in to the hotel, the front staff told us that our rooms were still needing to be cleaned and had no estimate of when we would be able to check-in. This was at 9PM as we had just arrived in to town. We also did have a fully prepaid reservation. They told us we could park in the paid parking area and wait. I inquired if we would have to pay $17 for parking while we waited for a room to be cleaned and they said we would have to. I noticed many other people sitting in the lobby and then asked how many other people were still in front of us needing to check in and they said they “didn’t know for sure and maybe one?” At this point I became very suspicious of the circumstances as I’ve heard of hotels selling off reserved rooms for higher prices when demand increases and I checked online and sure enough the room prices had increased by more than twice the amount we paid just 24 hours earlier. It was at this point it seemed pointless to try to reason with the front staff as they were uncaring, cold, and somewhat rude about the whole situation. They had no answers, no remedy, and offered no solution or consolation for the huge inconvenience as we had been driving all day and were anticipating a smooth check-in process and a clean room waiting for us to rest. I doubt we actually had a room that night. They probably would have kept us waiting all night if they had to. I have never stayed at this hotel and I never will. Completely unprofessional, uncaring, and seemed to either not have their act together or are willing to sell off rooms to make a quick buck off an unexpected busy night.
