Convenient Location, Blah Breakfast & NO Maid Service :( Spent 2 nights at this Holiday Inn. We chose it due to it's close location to I 25 and the Sandia Tramway. Pre-booked online and received a small room discount with our AAA membership. We had 3 rooms: king with a sofa area and 2 king rooms. Both rooms were clean and offered a comfortable mattress. One of the safes did not work and we had to combine our personal items into one safe. Breakfast was served in the Lobby area where there was an attendant taking care of restocking and cleaning up the area. Typical, basic breakfast: 2 out of 5. Good for a quick fix but, much better food at nearby restaurants. Pet Peeve: We asked for our room to be cleaned at the Receptionist Desk. When we returned in the evening, it was NOT!!! The other 2 rooms HAD been cleaned. Feel like we should have gotten a $ credit for lack of service.

Decent business stay I reserved 3 nights in late October here. At check in, my keys were ready and within 2 minutes I was up in my room. The room was fairly oversized, well lit, and appointed very nicely. There was a large 65" tv on the wall which on a pivoting mount which allowed you to watch TV from the couch of bed. Plenty of storage in both the closet and the dresser. The restroom was clean, but in desperate need to fix loose tiles, and the shower pan had a dead spot that if you stood on it, you felt like you were dropping into the floor. Both a fridge and microwave were provided. The room can get very noisy as the walls are very thin. the room doors slam VERY hard shut, so the noise ricochets throughout the hotel. Parking was free. The area felt safe with having my personal car on the trip. There is a pool (not heated) and hot tub. On the first two nights, the hot tub water level was very low which didn't allow the jets to work properly, and it had a strange smell to it. The following 2 nights there were no issues with it. The breakfast was your standard Holiday Inn Express. Nothing out of the ordinary or different.

Convenient to Balloon Festival We chose this hotel for it's close proximity to the Balloon Festival (about 1 mile to gate). Clean, comfortable. Balloon festival accommodations included an early bird snack breakfast and a shuttle for purchase. In chatting with some other guests on the shuttle, I found out a few of the rooms (opposite side of hotel that we were) had a view of the balloons ascending in the morning and the fireworks at night.

TWO minutes away from Rainbow Ryders Hot Air Balloon Check-In! This is a nice property that is well-maintained and offers lots of ammenities: sundry shop, indoor pool and hot tub, fitness center, guest laundry and FREE breakfast. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. There is a mini fridge, coffee maker and safe in the room. The shower pressure was a little low, but the water was hot. The A/C worked well. The bed was VERY comfortable. The staff was friendly and accomodating of special requests. I would stay here again.
