Much work to do There is much work to do. Poor light if arriving after sunset. Trash bin receptacles overflowing in front of the property. The entire property needs updating and upkeepting. Breakfast selection depleted. My goodness - Choice Hotels needs to do a bit of mentoring.

Rude and unprofessional staff There were stains on the shower curtain and the toilet in room 120. My gf and I left right after we got the room and came back late around 9:30pm. In the morning we realized how dirty the room was. I went to let the front desk lady know but she blamed us for staying in the room at the first place, raised her voice and said she wasn’t gonna clean it because she works the front desk. She was joined by house keeping staff who also started yelling at me. One of them even saying, « you should have brought your ass down here to let us know… » they were so rude and unprofessional. This is literally my worst experience with hotel staff. This happened the morning of 04/29/24. Whoever worked the front desk that day is unprofessional and rude.

Would not recommend Chose this hotel based on ratings. Bad choice. If I’d researched a little more I would have seen all the good ratings are not recent. Room was in very poor condition: stains on bed linens, carpet, and shower curtain, multiple holes in the blackout window curtain, suspicious if shower was even cleaned. Chose not to eat breakfast because of messiness and poor choices and quality of food. And the most annoying thing was how thin the walls are. Could hear people next door, people in hallway, and every step taken by guests above. Positives: good amenities in room (microwave, fridge, safe, couch, closet. USB ports next to bed.) A/c worked well. Bed comfort was ok.

Dissatisfied Only positive thing I’ll give this hotel is the A/C worked great and comfortable pillows. Breakfast was terrible( out of three days no milk except for this morning and no juice of any kind. The keypads didn’t work outside. If you went out of side door you had to walk to the front door to enter hotel again. Also no toilet paper holder in bathroom. Will not stay there again.

Nightmare on Old Boyce Road We ended up here for an unplanned overnight stay in Alex. Booked through Hotwire, which is always hit or miss. This was a BIG miss. Check in went smoothly and the lady at the breakfast area was nice. Nothing else good to say about this place. We checked in and we’re given a room. Upon arrival to the room, it was obvious it had not been cleaned since the last occupants. Dirty, molded and mildewed towels on the floor and hanging on the door; hair everywhere in the bathroom; half used soaps; and dirty bed linens. I let the front desk know and was given another room. The lady said “I hope they cleaned this one.” Spoiler alert: they didn’t. This room had NO linens in the bathroom. The beds were unmade, pillows piled in the corner, and every door and drawer in the room was left open. At least there were bed linens so we made the beds. That was when we noticed the dust cloud that rose up every time the blankets moved. Not good for allergy sufferers. Then there was the breakfast. Few choices, mostly cold, and hairs all in the bacon (hair seemed to be a theme here). TL:DR. Horrible. Stay away at all costs.
