Just started out wrong and ended worse. This was a weird one I had no hopes for this hotel when the girl checking me in has tattoos all over her face, I don’t think you should have her out front ha but that’s just me but overall was just bad for me personally try it out it may be different for you, but I had no comforter the room was very cold for some reason I think the only positive out of this was the cook, I think his name is Dre and the very nice front desk, they where nice just couldn’t get past that girl with the face tattoos and bright red hair, I chatted with Dennis he was helpful but it’s like everything I had needed they didnt have, but like I said try it out it could’ve just been a bad week.

Scam This hotel charged me even though I cancelled my stay in advance. This is completely unacceptable and scamming ppl. I don’t understand how you run business with unethical way like this. I gotta call my bank, spend 30 minutes to dispute it. You think ppl have spare time to resolve your mess???

No service, no supplies m, high cost, lots of excuses Holiday Inn Allentown We will not stay here again. We stayed at the Holiday Inn between Allentown and Bethlehem in their ‘best’ room/king suite for a college reunion. Although there is a mini kitchen, there is not one single dish, glass, cub, paper towels, or dish soap. The cabinets are completely bare. There is a mini fridge and a coffee maker with only two coffee pods and one Styrofoam cup. There is no room service. We stayed three nights and were told that our room would not be serviced but we could request towels. When we requested towels, we did not get them. We had to go to target to purchase basic kitchen supplies that should have been supplied. . When speaking with the manager about our frustration, he apologized, but told us at these lack of service measures and basically supplies due to Covid. However, hey still continue to charge full rates and continue to use the past Covid measures as an excuse to cut services and make more money. They charged us full price for the weekend, but did not provide services or supplies. The room was clean, but that is not enough to make us stay here ever again. One star (barely)

Dirty with missing management The Holiday Inn Allentown-Bethlehem is an early 2000s hotel that underwent a significant renovation just before the pandemic. While renovated, it was done superficially. Ongoing maintenance and housekeeping are issues. In particular, housekeeping was/is a disaster. The plumbing into the toilet was heavily rusted. The walk-in shower had mold and mildew. The flooring in the bathroom had extensive amounts of hair. The bathroom vanity as well as the toilet also had hair. There was no sheet on the blanket, which was stained and clearly not laundered after use by a previous guest. While the front desk clerk was polite, professional and the kind of employee I would hire for a customer-facing position, she couldn't do anything. There was no manager or supervisor working. How does a full-service hotel not have a manager on duty? Housekeeping was so short staffed that at least an entire floor of rooms weren't even being cleaned and put into inventory. Also, be aware that the "restaurant" is one step up from a deli counter with a bar. The quality and overall selection of food and drinks are limited. You can get better food at the drive-in Starbucks or the deli counter in Whole Foods and Wegmans. IHG elite status was basic. Just a choice of points, breakfast or a free drink. No upgrade and no attention paid to preferences on the reservation or my Diamond profile. All things considered, I would not recommend staying here. The Hyatt Place a short drive away is a much better option.
