First Rate O-M-G !!!!!!!!!!! BINGO What a pleasant experience. I had the BEST night's sleep I've had in years, yes years. I don't know where to start. I had just spent 2 months in So Texas at a less than spectacular motel, but the price was right for a 2 month stay. Matter of fact, I'm never going back there. I left there soooo ready to go home to MN. High stress level had me very uncomfortable. So my daughter selected this Comfort Inn for me, and made the reservation while I was driving. Imagine how pleased I was when I arrived and it was clean and fresh, with new furniture. My room looked like something right out of a Martha Stewart photo shoot, crisp and white and the most perfect tightly made bed I've ever seen. After a quick shower, I crawled under the covers into the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. As a matter of fact, I am going to call them and find out what brand mattress that was. The pillows were the exact degree of firmness, and the fluffy comforter was to die for. It felt like I was the first person to sleep on those sheets and that bed. Unbelievably fresh! About 10 minutes after my head hit the pillow, boom, I was o-u-t. We had ridden horses on the beach the day before, so pretty much every muscle in my body was sore, and my head was spinning from driving so far. but, the next morning I felt like a million dollars. No pain, no stress, calm, relaxed, and ready to go. I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT

Disappointing. Pool closed, wifi slow, don't plan on enjoying a shower. The only thing weaker than the water pressure was the wifi. Wifi speed here is sub par even if you can find a spot with good signal (good luck). The water pressure was very weak. The faucet was loose in the wall too. We couldn't even get enough pressure for the shower to work at times. The pool was closed as well. Maybe they should talk to the lone star plumbing company that has a sign nearby advertising.

Decent Generally, OK place. But if I’m using my standard for Choice Hotels, especially comfort Inn and suites, I would say this one disappointed a little. Mostly just stains on the furniture! That is a dealbreaker for me just very gross to have stains on the cushions and the armrest of the chairs and couch as well as the bench that you put your luggage on. The rest of it was fine. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were fine. Location is good several decent places to eat very close by.

Good, but… I am a loyal customer tot he Choice brand and found this property to be basically ok, but DEFINITELY in need of a remodel. Carpets are old, work and stained. Lightbulbs were not all the same brightness. Shower controls were loose. The room was definitely a large room for not technically being a suite. Chair was comfortable but worn and stained. The front desk staff were super friendly. Do not walk around in your room without socks on or you’ll notice the shower water will turn black when you step in. This for me is an instant “re-think”’for my next visit in the area. The breakfast selection seemed good - hot choices as well as waffles. I do hope the owners are seriously considering an imminent remodel. I noticed a review from a couple of years ago suggested this as well so either the owners don’t care or it’s in the works. When I return next year if this property has not been remodeled I will find another property. If corporate were to visit I believe some improvements would be strongly suggested.

Horrible nights sleep at a promising hotel We stayed here for one night. When we first walked in, we were taken back by how quiet everything was. Beautiful and large check in area and large looking breakfast area. When we got to our room, we noticed the road traffic seemed loud. But thinking it was rush hour, we thought it would die down. As we unloaded and settled in our large room, the noise never quieted down. As we we’re getting ready for bed, we discovered that there was an opening in the window about 1/4” wide! This opening was in the back where the two windows came together. So all night, we heard the outside road noise and these noisy large birds in the tree near our window. We really wanted to like this hotel but unfortunately, that ruined it for us. When we checked out, we told them about it and they apologized and said they would get maintenance to look in to it. They did have a nice breakfast area with several selections. If you stay here, request an odd numbered room. We were on a even room and heard the interstate noise. The road behind the hotel, trains and those darn birds!
