A super hotel The hotel alongside the A61 in a shopping and entertainment area has been furnished as if you are at a North Sea beach: a beach near the entrance with beach chairs, a carpet in the corridors giving you the feeling of a boardwalk (entering your room you have the feeling to take of your shoes with the (virtual) sand). Then a surprise: a large room withy separate seating and bed room (2 flatscreens, bottle of water free). The bed provides a kind of strand chair feeling, the walls are painted as if you are on the beach … FABULOUS! The breakfast can be found on a small ship structure; life vests etcetera … Needless to say it was clean, quiet and nothing more to ask for. The very friendly and efficient hotel staff charged us just over 80 euro for a night including breakfast for 2 persons. the only issue is how to find the hotel - navigation systems are close but not precise. Just take a look at Google maps centred around the hotel gives you a feeling for the layout of the large parking lots of the shopping centre and the location of the hotel.

Fine for 1 night We slept here on our way to Austria. For a hotel near the highway, it's fine. We had dinner at the terrace, typical German dishes for quite a good price. Breakfast was fine. Beds and shower were good. Temperature in our room not great: it was very hot since there's no airco. But not much highway noise (we had a room at section D, at the back of the hotel).

Convinient break of travel but poor bed We stayed there for just one night on our way home. It was convinient because close to the motorway, it was quiet at night and the food was allright. But the most important feature of every hotel made it an uncomfortable stay; the bed. Or better, the block of concrete instead of a matress.

Quaintly themed but convenient for an overnight stop when travelling. Heading south from Rotterdam to Slovenia we decided on two overnight rest stops to break up the journey. This was the first one of the two. Chosen for its proximity to the A61 for convenience and found easily enough from clear directions. Oddly located in a semi industrial area but really quite pleasant. Check in was smooth and our room was clean and bright. The decor was somewhat odd in that everywhere was themed on a seaside location even down to mock planked corridor floors and carpets woven to resemble tide ruffled sand beaches. Event the tester over the bed was blue and white striped to resemble a seaside awning. All it lacked was a bucket and spade and an audio tape of screaming gulls and crashing waves. The bed was delightfully comfortable and the room facilities bright and in good order. We had been concerned about noise from the Autobahn but heard nothing at all. The restaurant was good with excellent choices. All in all we enjoyed our visit.

Good value but far away from everything The hotel is nice, nothing to complain, Room not super spacious but enough for 1 night. It’s an hotel next to a commercial center, so after the shops are closed the area become a sort of ghost town. Service good enough, I didn’t try the breakfast because I tend to avoid breakfast at the hotel. Price reasonable for the facilities. Room clean, no noises from outside a a good bed with a comfortable mattress.
