Value cannot be beat for walking distance to Disney Trams! I read most of the reviews before booking and staying for almost 2 weeks at Days Inn with my family. The points in the negative reviews are either specific to their visit, exaggerated, or matched to elevated expectations. If you expect 5 star service and amenities, then go spend 4 to 5 times more elsewhere. However, if you want a budget-friendly, safe, comfortable, and convenient location within walking distance to the Disney Trams, then this is hands-down the best place to book for the cost. I found slightly cheaper places, but they didn’t offer the same amenities, or the accommodations were not safe for my family (we have a 5yr old and two teens). Our room at Days Inn was received clean, well equipped with ample clean pillows, sheets, and towels, and the air conditioner was excellent to cool the suite in minutes. Our beds were clean and comfortable. Everything in our suite worked well, including the mini-fridge, microwave, and hair dryer, and the bathroom and bed layout were great! The Staff were all polite, professional, and considerate. I always treat others how I want to be treated – with courtesy, respect, and manners. So when I read reviews espousing how rude the Staff are, I can only imagine how the reviewer must have treated the Staff to rightfully receive a reciprocal response. I found the Front Desk Staff (Mr. H.) and all the Cleaning Staff to be wonderful. Years ago I remember being able to walk 7 minutes through the Disney Staff Parkade off of West Place / Flore St. Disney cut this off forcing us to now walk along Disneyland Drive to Magic Way and up a flight of stairs to cross on overpass to the Disney Trams that take you to the main park gates. It’s a 30 minute door to door trek, but it beats paying for parking or Uber, or waiting for shuttles, and the Tram ride is nice. There is a pool, but it is attached to the neighboring Budget Inn. We would not have had any time to use it anyway. There are laundry facilities, a vending machine, an elevator, a handy grab-and-go continental breakfast (good variety of food and drinks) starting at 7am, ample free parking (covered and uncovered), and WiFi. The WiFi was spotty deeper in the suite, but had great connectivity closer to the suite door. It is an unsecure connection, so obviously save your banking for your mobile data. Those complaining about the Disneyland fireworks at 9:30-10:30pm need to keep in mind that the sound can be heard by all the motels and hotels in the area. We found it charming and reminded us of the Disney Parks. There was no highway noise that we could hear over the air conditioner, TV, and our own chit chat. We all slept very well every night and could nap in comfort during the day. We would come back here and recommend Days Inn to families and guests who want to save money on comfort and convenience.
