Good for a quick trip. Beds not Hilton comfy level. Carpet dirty in hallways. The hotel room itself is not up to Hilton standards that I am used to. It was a two queen bed and one of the beds was so sunk in that I couldn’t sleep in it or barely sit on it. I used it as a luggage bed instead. The remaining bed was very springy, but I was able to sleep in it. The room is basic. Shower only available. Hallway carpet is dirty. The pool and hot tub are out of commission, but they said you could use the Hilton next door. The free breakfast in the morning was good. The staff was nice and accommodating.

Passing through A short layover turned long layover, but thi s hotel is very near Walmart, Bear Paw restaurant, even Applebees across the street. It was easy to do things with our inconsistent schedule. If I have to be in Ancorage again, I will like to stay here again.

Needs lots of work done Did a split stay here as we flew in, stayed for two days, left to explore and then came back for last two days of our stay. The hotel has a shuttle that will take you to and from airport but you have to call hotel and wait until the shuttle is done with all it's other rounds and while they advertise they will take you downtown, they only drop you off and pick you up at two spots there. It's walking distance to two restaurants and Starbucks and is near the Seward Highway if you will be traveling either north or south. Breakfast buffett is about $15. The staff here is very nice and helpful. Now the bad parts... Hotel is so in need of upgrading/repairs/cleaning. The carpets in the hallways are all terribly stained, I mean OLD stains. The pool is still under repairs. One elevator does not work and the one that does runs slowly. While the rooms were very clean, the first one we stayed in smelled heavily of bleach to the point we had to open the window - which didn't have a screen in it. The thermostat in the room had been updated but they didn't bother to fill in or cover the hole that was visible from the replaced older one. Our second stay here the first room we were in had a running toilet and a faucet that didn't work properly so we were moved to another room that had everything working but was missing one nightstand and lamp. If your room faces the rear of the property, you may hear dogs barking from the neighboring homes. Ask for a room in the front of the property! The location of this hotel and the staff is its saving grace.

Clean and comfy Love the lobby update! Room was clean, comfy, soft bed. Saw reviews about A/C issues, I dealt whit the same but I am naturaylly cold so Idid not need room to be colder. Only one issue - one elevator was down so during certain times, there would be a wait for the elevator. Otherwise, I liked my stay.

Treated like friends Had a girls weekend planned and they were so helpful in finding things to do for us! The shuttle service was very thoughtful too! It was a wonderful experience knowing we would make it back safe and sound! The breakfast buffet was a nice touch and if there was something additional we wanted that wasn't on the buffet, they did have a cook who was happy to make it for us :)
