Hampton Inn Auburn- Home Away from Home We had a fantastic first experience at this property, and as dedicated Hilton Honor Members, we were truly impressed. Upon arrival, Yvonne warmly welcomed us with bottled water for my husband and me, and even surprised our 3-year-old grandson with a delightful bag of gummy bears, instantly winning his heart. The following morning, we had the pleasure of meeting Trish, the incredibly efficient and friendly breakfast attendant who ensured the breakfast area was always well stocked. We knew we liked her for a reason—we are from West Virginia, and so is she. During check-out, we had the pleasure of meeting the assistant manager, Sara, who exuded warmth and made us feel incredibly appreciated for choosing their establishment. Our stay was so delightful that we decided to check in again just two days later, a testament to the wonderful experience we had during our first stay. We look forward to many more memorable stays at this exceptional property.

road noise affecting sleep quality Warning, the hotel is adjacent to the freeway. The continuous highway noise can be 'deafening' and disrupt sleep. Sound insulation is marginal. Be advised. Otherwise, a standard Hilton. BTW, Hiltons now all have toilet articles under the brand "ZERO". Well, ZERO is what you get. Basic detergent. The marketing people at Hilton think customers lack intelligence - they have the chutzpah to cal the products ZERO, then tell you this is somehow "good" for the environment. Well, clearly, this is business decision throughout the chain to cheapen everything in the name of profit. Don't be fooled.

Decent Hampton... nice room! I was on a solo road trip over a long weekend in October 2023 and had the opportunity to spend a Friday night at this Hampton Inn in Auburn. Overall, it was fairly nice. I was able to redeem some Hilton Honors points and got a free night's stay here which was great! I arrived shortly before 3:00 on Friday. The woman who checked me in was very friendly and efficient. My room (#312) was clean and comfortable... no problems there. It also looked like it had been renovated fairly recently, so that was good. In the morning, I had breakfast at the hotel which was all right. The only concern I had with breakfast is seating seemed to be fairly limited for the number of guests who were having breakfast at the same time as me on Saturday morning. All in all, this was a good stay and I got a comfortable night's sleep. Besides the breakfast, there were only a couple things I was not fully satisfied about. First, the indoor pool no longer has its hot tub (I know that more and more hotels are doing away with this, but I still miss being able to use the hot tubs in hotel pools). Second, I wanted to use the business center computer, but they are still using the old Internet Explorer browser which doesn't really help me much for web surfing I would have wanted to do on there. They really need to upgrade to at least Google Chrome for their browser. In general, this hotel is good and I would have no qualms about staying there again in the future if I find myself needing lodging in the Auburn area.
