Accommodating Staff Dante provided excellent customer service in facilitating a relaxing stay for my son during a hectic weekend when he was traveling extensively. Staci also did a great job helping us the following day as we were trying to book another stay for him in TN while the Marriott points system was down.

Not Bad Stayed here one night. Hotel is a 10-15 minute walk with a sidewalk to the Lake Eire Crushers stadium. The staff at this property are outstanding and friendly. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Could use a little touch up paint and grout cleaning in the bathroom. Very limited breakfast options. But overall, not bad. Would stay here again.

No shampoo??? We booked a four night stay and were surprised at the condition of the hotel. It is generally run down - rust on the lit brand sign, weeds as tall as your knees around the property, broken light covers in the hallway, empty sanitizer kiosks near the elevator….but the kicker was the surprise of having no shampoo in the room. Soap, conditioner and body lotion, check. Shampoo? None. We called the front desk on our first night and were told they would be getting a shipment in the morning. Next evening, we again asked. Nope - nothing. We glanced at the housekeeping carts we passed and saw none on the carts either, leading is to believe the NO GUESTS have shampoo right now. Third night? Still no shampoo! What kind of hotel runs out of shampoo and doesn’t solve the issue promptly? There are dozens of Marriotts in the area - why cant they be asked to lend some? This isnt a short staff issue - which we understand and have no qualms with. It’s a poor planning and problem solving management issue to let your hotel run out of such a basic necessity. We will be going to a drug store in the morning to buy shampoo to use since this hotel is clearly not going to have any before we check out. This is unacceptable for a Marriott. Platinum member here - this is the worst experience Ive had, and Ive stayed at a lot of properties.

Do not stay here! Management is not responsive I had a stay for 3 nights last weekend. My credit card was charged inappropriately multiple times totaling close to $1500. I came down to the front desk multiple times on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday morning when we checked out trying to get assistance. No one really provided much assistance and most times referred me to management. Because of this, Discover card had fraud alert on my account because the hotel ran it so many times. As you can imagine this is a huge inconvenience while traveling from out of town. Pamela Lawhorn is the manager and I spoke to her for 2-3 minutes in which she said she would research. Its been 3 days and she has not returned my call. I have also left multiple messages. the customer service displayed by management lets me know why my credit card was handled so frivolously. the management is not responsive and obviously doesn't care about the guests. I'm a faithful Marriott rewards member, and this has been the first time a front desk has handled me as a customer and my credit card so careless. I spent way to much time asking questions on how you process charges and how these errors would be addressed. It ridiculous even still now 6 days later I'm still chasing what happened. Multiple people took my name and number saying the manager would contact me and no ever did. Once again today I call and my name and number given but no answers and told now Pamela is out of the office till Monday.

Could Be Better The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I had cash on hand and thankfully they accept a cash deposit without putting anything on a credit / debit card, unlike the Courtyard Cleveland Elyria. Staci put us in room 132 and upon walking in the room, it had an odd smell to it. After being in the room for a bit, I realized it was Freon leaking and immediately went to let Staci know. She moved our room to the third floor without batting an eye and made notes for maintenance. The new room was larger, had no wear and tear and had a completely different feel to it. The next morning upon check-out, it was a breeze other than having the wrong name on my deposit and not putting the new room number on the envelope.
