Don’t stay here This place is terrible. No internet. No working elevator. The most apathetic staff. Asked to speak to a manager and was told she was in the shower (for 4 hours) . DO NoT STAY HERE. Plenty of great places to stay nearby. You might pay $20 more but it will be totally worth it. I left as soon as I realized there was no internet, got a room somewhere else and they kept my money. Was in my room for 5 minutes.

Disappointing, be aware of safety concerns. Very disappointing experience . I was specifically looking for a hotel with a hot tub. I called ahead to make sure the hot tub was in order as I am recovering from a back injury and really wanted a soak. Upon arrival, we attempted to go in the hot tub but the water was literally scalding hot. My husband went to the front desk to tell them of the danger and see if it was possible to turn down the temperature. The response from the desk clerk was “no, but it would only be open for ½ hour longer anyway.” I attempted to come in after my husband and found that I was trapped in this outdoor pool area. The door within the 6 ft fence surrounding the area only opens from the outside or by reaching your hand over from the inside. But at 5’2”, I could not reach the lock. The original door handle, which would have been at waist height, was missing as there was a large hole in the door. My husband came back and let me out and we both went to the desk. I nicely tried to encourage the fellow on duty to go feel the water as I was concerned someone, especially a child, would be burned. He said, “ Oh I can’t. I am not allowed to.” He said he would let maintenance know for the morning, but made no move to close it that evening. Regarding being locked in, he commented that it had crossed his mind about someone being unable to get out and that he would mention that to the manager too. Less notable, but still noticeable, were various bits of trash throughout the pool and hot tub area. On a plus note, the bed was comfortable though the room had a loud older style air conditioner. The general feel was a need for upgrades. The breakfast was included but just your general powdered eggs, pre-made omelets, spongy potatoes, and waffle maker. When I checked back with the front desk on the way out about the hot tub and pool matter, the person on duty said a manager would call me the following day. That seemed a bit inappropriate, but regardless no call came. I don’t normally complain but those are safety concerns so now you’ve been advised.

Nice, clean, comfortable, friendly We enjoyed our stay. The staff were helpful and friendly, anticipating our needs. We were very pleasantly surprised that the complimentary breakfast was a full, hot breakfast, instead of the typical continental breakfast. The room was clean and there were no odors. The bathroom was clean and had lots of counter space. The bed was firm, yet comfortable, very nice sheets. The pillows were nice too. The coffee in the lobby/breakfast area was excellent. There was some noise (motor or flushing noise) since our room was next to the elevator.

Best Place to Stay in Bakersfield!! We liked this Motel so much, we started and ended our vacation here. Very Clean, bed was very comfortable, Staff very Hospitible. After our first night, we needed to leave earlier then they started serving breakfast but the Staff Member (Andrew) opened the doors to breakfast early so we could get moving on down the road.....that is going above and beyond!!

Well run Inn Great place to end a day on the road. The room as clean, quiet, and relaxing. The pool and hot tub were a welcome relief for sore muscles. The breakfast was typical Choice fare, but good. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.
