Great staff make this stay special We stayed at several Hampton Inns on a recently family road trip, and this was by far the best one. Hampton Inns are mostly the same, but the staff here are a team and just really good folks. We had a few hiccups during our stay, small to medium issues (A/C struggling in our room was one) but each time, the staff had a smile and figured it out. They are quick chatting back in the Hilton App chat. Location isn't bad, easily walked to a few spots and dinner. Overall, the staff here put it above the rest. Always helpful and with a smile on their face. We would stay here again.

Bare bones but $$$$ Very basic hotel…no frills at all…and with parking, taxes, and other fees. we ended up paying nearly $500 for one night. For that price, I’d expect a much nicer hotel. It’s close to attractions, but other properties are closer to Camden Yard.

Positives and negatives We stayed one night at this property. It's in downtown Baltimore, not far from the Harbor. We arrived fairly late. When we pulled up, there was a valet outside but he didn't pay any attention. He went inside the hotel and never acknowledged us. I thought he was doing something else but realized that he was just on his phone. When I approached him, he said that I should check in and come back to handle the car. When I returned, there was a female valet that was much more helpful. She got our car checked in promptly. I did find it odd that I got a text message shortly thereafter advising that the car had been parked and requesting a tip. My GPS showed the car still in front of the hotel and unlocked. I locked it remotely. I expected better for $45. When I checked in the agent was a little "gruff" but got us checked in promptly. Our room was clean but a little small. It was nice that there was a lobby are outside of our room on the 7th floor. There was an actual bar of soap, which I appreciate as I don't care for the bottles of "goo." Breakfast was typical for Hampton and was pretty good. Retrieving our car was much better than the check in process. The request if via text and took about 5 minutes.

Will return! Great experience- in town for a game at Camden yards and it was an easy walk. Very close to inner Harbour too, we walked to aquarium. Felt safe with fairly heavily traveled roads. Clean, comfortable, quiet hotel. Friendly staff; valet was fast and convenient, breakfast had good options, coffee in lobby. Would return if back in town!

Amazing Downtown Hotel This was a great hotel. It is beautiful on the inside and outside and is not your typical Hampton Inn architecturally but same service I have come to expect from this brand. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Maid service is only offered every other day but can be requested if needed. The gym and pool were quality. The breakfast was adequate and the dining area was large and very unique. The location was excellent. We were able to walk to the inner harbor and Camden Yards. Lots of restaurants nearby. We felt very safe walking the area. There is a valet onsite for $45 a night. I was able to book a "park and stay" rate which saved me over half of that per night. All of the staff from the front desk, breakfast staff, valets and housekeeping were some of the friendliest staff we encountered during our 2 week road trip. I will definitely stay here again!
