Could Be So Much Better Nightmare checkin waiting 20 minutes for two people checking in ahead of us. Staff was helpful to find a bathroom for our toddler while we waited. No luggage cart just isn’t reasonable. Again staff person offered to help w luggage but it shouldn’t be necessary. The hotel says pet friendly but this only means you can bring a couple. The property has no place for dogs to relieve themselves except gross trash covered dirt beside freeway. Room dark and pretty quiet. Don’t open the blinds as the broken down fence and trashy walkway is scary.

A Decent Low Price Hotel My wife and I stayed at the Quality Inn in Banning for three days and we found this hotel to be acceptable. The hotel is located only a few feet from the freeway US I-10. We requested a room that is quite and away from the freeway but from the room they gave us we could still hear the freeway all night. On top of that, there is a freight train that runs on the other side of the freeway day and night, and the train always blows its whistle as it comes past the hotel. The constant low level noise did not bother us and we slept well; as if we were hearing white noise but if you are sensitive to noise this may not be the place for you. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water, soaps, shampoos, etc. Housekeeping cleaned rooms every three days but if you want clean towels before then, you can request them. The hot breakfast was good but limited, consisting of just waffles and oatmeal. There were cold cereals and some pastries. They were usually out of fresh fruit but were able to give it to us upon request. Apparently the person who manages the breakfast area is the same person who sits at the front desk so she had to stick her head in the breakfast area occasionally to make sure everything was OK. The Internet in my room was insufficient for doing anything. I wandered around the hotel and checked quality of service and found that at my end of the corridor the Internet signal was quite weak but at the other end of the corridor the Internet signal was strong. So when I needed to use the Internet to download a boarding pass for my flight I took my laptop to the end of the corridor and sat in the stairwell to download the boarding pass. The hotel does not have computers for public use but I could email my boarding pass PDF to the manager who was happy to print it out for me.

Didn’t like the hotel The hotel seems nice when you walk in to do check in but once you enter the premises it’s not that cozy and clean. Our room was non smoking but it had a very bad smoke smell. They ceiling had like a lot of sorry hands primos and that made me feel uncomfortable with the cleaning of the room. The breakfast was good I don’t have bad reviews for that one, and the personal was very good and willing to help.

Makes me Nervous It makes me nervous when they make me sign that there are charges for stained towels or bedding, then I go into the room and find stained bedding, holes or dents in the walls. The bathrooms are normally where the renovations fall short. These motel/ hotels, used to want you to be 'green' so their staff didn't have to clean as much and save water and detergent, which saved to company money. Now it just says if you stay 4-5 nights they are Not going to wash your towels, bedding, or clean up your room at all, unless you ask for a specific service.

Worst Quality Inn I’ve ever stayed at Quality Inn used to be a very nice hotel or maybe it was just this hotel?! Lots of riff raft hanging around the hotel. That should have been my first clue.. the family checking in ahead of me were having some issues with checking in and instead of going to the next person in line they made us all stand there waiting for about 45 minutes. I was super frustrated about the wait even I had booked online. Hotel smelled of marijuana in the halls and there was some blood spatters on the sheets. The door lock had been recently repaired but still didn’t close/lock properly. Other than that it was just ok. One plus was that they were pet friendly. Probably will not ever stay here again.
