Cheers to an EXCEPTIONAL Employee ! I would like to compliment one of Holiday Inn Express Employees. We had reservations In Belmont, NC and after a long 3 hour drive in the wild and frantic Holiday Traffic we arrived late at our destination and found Ms. Yvette Brown at the Holiday Inn Express desk. She was the most delightful and professional person that has ever welcomed us to a hotel and was most appreciative that we were safe. She took care of us with genuine compassion and along with her professionalism she took care of our every need. It is people like Yvette Brown that makes your hotel stay an excellent experience and I am sure she is also a benefit to our whole culture. She is an extraordinary employee of Holiday Inn Express and you should be so proud to have her in your company. Our lives were made better that night because of her service. Thank you Yvette Brown !

Nice budget hotel close to Charlotte airport I stayed here for one night when my connecting flight got cancelled. It’s about 12-minute Uber from the Charlotte airport. Staff at front desk was nice and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Price was reasonable I booked it in last minute.

Crash pad Needed a place to crash after flying for 2 days. Filled the bill! The room was clean and neat, but the hotel is showing signs of wear, such as a slow elevator. This hotel is convenient to get to from I-85 and 15 mins from CLT airport.

It's ok We were only here overnight on the way to Atlanta. I expected more based on the reviews. Room smelled like smoke. One of the beds creaked really loudly whenever my daughter rolled over. Check-in clerk was pleasant. Was fine for overnight, but I probably wouldn't stay again.

Clean and comfortable, but unusually noisy late at night . Disappointed at how noisy the third floor was. Noise from rooms, music playting untl 2 AM from rooms, and cars in the parking lot. Also, the safe in our room did not work. King bed was very high for my wife to climb into, and the shower head was at eye level, making a shampoo a little difficult. However, all of these essentially nusiance items, were off set by the Breakfast experience. #1 Julie, the attendant is outstanding. She stays very busy stocking the items, cleaning the counters and the tables, all with a joyous smile on her face. The variety of hot foods were all good, yougurt, cereal pancakes, sweet rolls, fruit coffee, juices and milk, and of course their famous cinnamon buns. Also, the ladies at the check in were very pleasant and helpful, as I had reserved 3 rooms under my credit card. They made sure there were no issues when my sister and another friend arrived to check in. TH only other nit pick, is that our room had a nice bench you coud strech out on to read, but no light foe you to read by at night.Lot's of hot water for a nice shower after a long day of travel. I hope they can contain the noise problem with guests, espweewcially later at night.
