Gorgeous Property with Friendly Staff! I recently returned from a trip to Juniper Preserve with my family. The property is stunning, newly constructed, and very clean. All the staff were friendly, but Jake at the concierge desk was particularly accommodating and helpful. He offered us a room upgrade to one of the suites on the 3rd floor for a reasonable price. Additionally, he was attentive, remembered our names and faces, and was kind to our dog. I would definitely recommend this property to families, golfers, couples, and businesses!

Decent The negative for some is that it is rather remote, 20 to 30 minutes from most things in Bend. However, if you want to go to a resort, exclusive experience, this might fit. Beautiful, hot, and dry. I did not try the food. The staff were responsive.

So sad and disappointed in Resort changes! Limited food and drink! Not the same Resort anymore. We had our massage earlier in the day just like usual. We were excited for our dinner. When we went to the Grill the doors were locked up tight. We were told to go up to the Clubhouse which we did. The Clubhouse then told us we needed reservations to have dinner. I had my daughter and my 8 month old granddaughter with me and there was no food to be found. Back by the front desk we were able to get some cheese and crackers, but went to bed hungry. So excited for the next morning because we absolutely loved the coffee shop. Guess what? No more coffee shop! Who’s in charge if this Resort now? Why have you made it to where your regulars do not want to return anymore. All I can say is Brasada Ranch here we come. This is the first time I’ve ever written a poor review! It’s quite sad to me that I even had to!

BEAUTIFUL RESORT — GREAT GOLF: Remote Location with Limited Amenities I was very disappointed that most of the amenities at Juniper Lodge were closed for our May 16-19, 2025 golf trip. The website is misleading as lists all sorts of amenities, that are listed as closed when you read the fine print.. The website shows a spa (closed), a general store (closed) and more restaurant options (only one was restaurant open). The golf shop had good merchandise, but there is not much of a selection. Most of the food at the IRIS restaurant was excellent but they were out of meat balls, Brussels sprouts, pork chops among other things. Don’t get the chicken as a protein with the salad; they give you a chicken wing with very little meat on it. It was so disappointing to have so restaurant options, with limited food options at the one restaurant that was open. The service was excellent and everyone couldn’t be nicer, but clearly the resort is understaffed. Transportation is a big problem. Guests should be encouraged to rent a car because it is difficult to get transportation. Uber drivers don’t want to deadhead 30 minutes to the resort, and often cancel. The hotel shuttle was booked so it was very stressful to get to the airport for a flight. The golf courses are excellent, but I would not recommend staying at Juniper Lodge because of the remote location and the lack of amenities to support your stay.

Warning: Juniper Preserve Falsely Advertises on Its Website (Particularly Club Level) We recently stayed at Juniper Preserve and were quite disappointed with our experience. Despite the beautiful location and promising amenities, several issues marred our stay: Club Level Voucher Issue: We paid for the club level, which the website stated included a daily voucher for breakfast and happy hour. However, upon checking in for our three-night stay, we received only one voucher. This was misleading and frustrating, especially since we paid an extra $200 per night for the club level room. Voucher Confusion at Restaurant: When we tried to use the voucher at the Iris/Blu Bar restaurant, the manager said he didn't know about this voucher. According to the website, the voucher was supposed to include a glass of beer, wine, or a mocktail, and an appetizer. This lack of communication and coordination was very disappointing. Lack of Towels at Outdoor/Hot Tub Area: There were no towels replenished at the outdoor/hot tub area, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the front desk was not staffed at all times, making it difficult to address this issue promptly. No Access to Lounge with Continental Breakfast: The website promotes access to a lounge with a continental breakfast, but this was not available during our stay. This was another misleading aspect that added to our disappointment. Limited Dining Options in Winter: Nothing is open during the winter except the Iris restaurant, where entrees are priced at around $60. Even an appetizer pizza costs $24. Additionally, the closest food options are a 30-40 minute drive away in Bend. This limited dining option was inconvenient and overpriced. Understaffed Resort: You pay close to a $50 a day resort fee, but most of the resort was understaffed. There was no valet, no support with luggage (we were directed to the cart closet), and there were no towels by the hot tub. After complaining about our experience, we got 2/3 of club level refunded back. We requested to be reimbursed in full for the club level because we would have saved money and just booked a room. While we appreciate the 2/3 refund, this does not make it okay for Juniper Preserve to falsely advertise what they offer. We will never stay here again and strongly caution anyone from booking at the Club Level. It is not worth it; they are not staffed enough to be priced as high as they are. Proceed with caution.
