Stinks like a dumpster This was a last resort due to over night traveling. It seems to be clean from outdoors. The hallways and room stink terribly. There were cigarette burns all over the room. The towels and linens stink terribly. The carpet and floors are sticky. Stains on the walls and peeling paint. Staff were very friendly.

Basic Room! After hours of driving this was the choice to stay for the night. It was a basic room and nothing was wrong with it. The staff was friendly. The room was far more expensive than it was worth. People arguing in the parking lot at night. If you have to stay in Benton Harbor this is as good as it gets. Keep driving is my advice.

Gross Gross. The floor was sticky. The phone was taped together with scotch tape. Had to buy an air freshener for the room. Once the air was turned on it smelled awful. The bed was comfortable. We booked through a website and it was obviously an off-market room. When we checked out the gentleman at checkout was sure to let me know that had we booked directly that our room would have been $40 less. If you don't have to stay here I wouldn't.

Horrible 3 rooms for the 6 of us. Just before midnight my daughter found a bedbug in their bed.Go to the desk, Demand refund, the guy charges our card for another 2 night stay. Then proceeds to become irritated that we are wanting to leave. Choice Hotels refuses to assist in anyway. Spent the better part of our budget on a different hotel. Was told refund would be back on our card the next day. Wrong, now with one day left for vacation racking up credit card debt because we can not get a refund from the bedbug palace. Never again will we stay in such a place. Rooms smell of cigarette smoke, drywall cracking everywhere, exposed wiring in exhaust fan in bathroom and bedbugs to top it all off. Place should be shut down

Great basic hotel—clean and friendly If you’re looking for clean, basic accommodations, this is your place. The price was low and the hotel was great. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and considerate of a traveler’s needs. We have stayed in more expensive hotels that had fewer accommodations. This hotel is nothing fancy but gets the job done well.
