Super convenient location, close to spa, amazing breakfast ski in ski out Thoroughly enjoyed the convenience of being so close to the slopes (literally 3 min walk out). Boot and ski valet was also easy. Free buffet breakfast was really good w lots of variety and the views looking out into the mountains was beautiful. We were in a one bedroom two bath unit. Everything was perfect except the bathrooms are dated but not a huge deal as we don’t spend a lot of time inside. Front desk was friendly and efficient. Spa at solace is great. Loved a woman named Shanel and hot stone massage. First time at big sky was amazing!!!

Great stay! We stayed in a one bedroom at the Shoshone Condos between Dec 17 - 23, so partly during the holiday peak season. The breakfast was amazing, though each day the line got longer to get it. I recommend going earlier. The location was fabulous, with being right in the village and a short walk to the two main lifts Swift and Ramcharger, right next to the Explorer lift. The condo unit was spacious with 2 full bathrooms and a wall pull out and sofa bed. The bedroom had a king bed. The kitchen was well stocked. We purchased groceries and ate all our meals at the condo. Masks are required in public areas, and everyone seemed to abide. Housekeeping is by request. We didn't need it, but had to empty the trash in the middle of our stay. The Health Club with a hot tub that connected to the outdoor hot tub was great. There was also a workout area and two sauna's wet and dry.

Unbelievable poor customer service We stayed here a week, spending thousands of dollars. Just called the front desk asking for only a half an hour late checkout to assist with our travel plans and were flat out denied. Not a visitor friendly place.

Beautiful upgrade We arrived at Big Sky with reservations at The Huntley but discovered that we had been upgraded to a one bedroom condo at Shoshone. We were in room 1937, which was so clean and spacious. I wanted to give this a five star but there was some sort of miscommunication between the front desk and housekeeping at check in and check out. We arrived early at 3:00 and asked if an early check in was posssible (check in is at 5:00.) The front desk said they would expedite our check in and call us when the room was ready. We waited in the lobby. At 4:45 lots of people were checking in (tour bus) so we got in line as well to check on our room. We were told that check in is at 5:00 and they would call us. At 5:45 we still had not been called so we inquired again. Our room was ready but they forgot to call. At check out we asked for an extended check out, checking out at noon instead of the 11:00 usual time. The front desk said no problem. We moved most items out of our condo before going skiing, leaving a few lunch items and misc. (including a cell phone) on the kitchen table. When we returned to the room at 11:30 to eat a quick lunch my cell phone was gone. It turns out that housekeeping came to the room and turned the phone in to the front desk. Not sure why this happened. We inquired about this when we picked up the phone at the front desk. They said that housekeeping had not been notified of our delayed check out. All of this detail to say that these two departments need a little better communication between one another. I do have to say that Erik at the front desk was very friendly and helpful with not only us but observed to be the same with other guests.

Everything we needed First time at Big Sky and Shoshone. We had room 1969, corner room on 6th floor. Beautiful view of the mountain, and a sunrise over Lone Peak first morning. I booked 3 months in advance for a ski and stay package that included breakfast buffet every morning. The extensive buffet had something for everyone. Very quiet room, which I love! No noise heard ever from other rooms above, below or next to us. Room was very clean when we arrived. It very comfortably accommodated 4 adults. Nice firm mattress in bedroom, which suited my husband and I. Murphy bed was comfortable for my daughter and her boyfriend; they had their own bathroom as well. Front desk staff were always very friendly and helpful. Concierge helped me set up a Boyne rewards account. Really liked being able to walk back to room for lunches and extra rest. We were able to get groceries, beer and wine at Hungry Moose market located on the mountain in the Exchange/Mountain Mall. We ended up eating on the mountain all 5 nights, since the road coming up from town of Big Sky was blocked with a bus and cars sliding sideways, due to heavy snow. Had plenty of choices in restaurants with good food for 5 nights. Andiamo Italian Grille was excellent, reservations needed. Pizza Woks has excellent Neopolitan style pizza. Westward Social, newer restaurant, has a more limited "chef inspired" menu. Also excellent. Would definitely stay again. Lots more mountain to ski and explore.
