Superb Stay I’m currently working in Birmingham and stay over once a week. I’ve been trying a few different hotels and this is by far the best and excellent value for money. I was on 14th floor with great views and upgraded to an exec room. It was fabulous, quiet and I slept really well. Bathroom was marble with walk in shower and White Company toiletries. Everywhere was pristine and everything catered for. Staff very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. This is now my new weekly stay - delighted that my colleague found such a great place!

Central great hotel This was a great hotel to stay in while visiting the NEC. Nice and central, and no distance from the canals, clean, lifts for me with a gammy knee, and a really nice Indian restaurant for an evening meal. The bedroom was roomy and a walk-in shower was a bonus. Lovely staff.

Poo coming out of the shower drain One of the worst hotel experiences I've had on business. Highlights: - The room next door to me were having loud vigorous sex. the walls were so thin that my bed was also moving. - It took an hour and a half for the couple to be quiet despite multiple visits from reception, after which I was moved. - The new room had a broken bathroom fan that ran constantly and no mini-fridge. - When I went to shower in the morning, human excrement came out of the shower drain - The hotel tried to give me access to another room in which to shower, told me to leave my things in my poo-ey room, then locked me out. - Juice glasses at breakfast were not clean

Get what you pay for and more Pretty decent hotel. Good location but facilities could be better. You get what you pay for though! I think their food menu is a bit outdated but all in all very content with the stay. The bar, reception and restaurant team were all genuinely lovely and helpful people. Cheers -S

Very happy with the quality at such a reasonable price I was worried about booking this hotel because it was cheaper than comparable hotels and it was right on the noisy Broad Street. When we got there it felt a cut above the budget hotels in that range. The rooms were clean and modern. It is very tall and well insulated, so did not hear any noise from Broad Street. It is also very convenient having the car park next to the hotel. It's not cheap, but if you park in a nearby carpark it will be a similar price. It is very close to all the major attractions and restaurants. One little note: we were coming back late at night and reception said the car park was full. In reality there were quite a few empty spaces, so check for yourself if that happens. Richard and Evie at the key drop in reception were really helpful and great with the kids. I would happily stay here again.
