OUR "GO TO" PLACE IN NBLOOMINGTON Century Suites is our "go to" place for our special celebrations---anniversary, ValeBntine's Day, etc. We get a fully equipped suite at a very reasonable price, and the hosts are very helpful if we need anything. We would recommend Century Suites over a hotel/motel when visiting Bloomington.

We stayed for three nights and hardly left the suite except for food. The fireplace in the bedroom was amazing. We used the whirlpool tub every day we were there and it was wonderful. We didn't visit the on-sire restaurant. We did go to the office for some breakfast snacks. There were lots of restaurants and fast food within a few miles. We would visit again.

Quaint but needs updates and maintenance Century Suites makes a great first impression with a good location and quaint feel, but the rooms are sorely outdated and in need of basic maintenance like painting, new carpets, new bathtubs, etc. While it was not dirty, it was musty and seemed uncared for (no exterior shower curtain, scratched up furniture). It has a lot of potential, but currently cannot justify the high rates ($980 for 2 nights), even during a football weekend.

In town to visit family and brought our dog! The place was amazing, it was like being at home. We needed a place to stay that allowed dogs as we wanted to bring ours with us. I loved that it wasn’t like a hotel, I knew if we left our dog he would bark at first and I didn’t want to disturb anyone. From check in to checking out everyone was very friendly. I loved the cute little pie bites they offered!!!! We had an emergency come up shortly after arriving in town and they were very helpful and accommodating, definitely appreciated that! Would recommend them.

VERY MUSTY AND STINKY This place has great potential. When you first pull in you admire its cuteness. The receptionist when we checked in was very nice and friendly. One evening we had a problem with the TV and the front desk was happy to walk us through it or come to our room to help. However, when we first checked into the 1065 we were under impressed. The steps going up are old, look like they are about to crack and need replacement. I am not sure if a building inspector or their insurance company came by it would pass inspection. I commented that could have told us there were steep outdoor steps incase we were traveling with an elderly person. As soon as we opened the door the smell was overwhelming. It was so musty and then it smelled like they put something on the carpet to cover up the smell which made it even more overwhelming. I commented to my husband that thank goodness we did not bring our son that had Asthma or he would have immediately had an attack. If you go look through some of the comments here on TripAdvisor there are multiple posts about the musty smell. It is real!! There are also comments about how the carpets are professionally cleaned. There were huge dirty stains on the carpet in the kitchen area. Stains that will never come up no matter how many times you have it professionally cleaned. Sometimes carpets need to be replaced. I was sorry I did not bring my slippers and walked about the place in my flip flops the entire stay. Our check out was 11:00 am and I had lost track of time dealing with canceled flights back home and we received a call at 11:05 wanting to know if the room was vacant. I explained the situation and they were nice enough to give us a little more time. We checked out by 11:45. Over all this has great potential with the location, cute look to the outside and size of rooms.
