Not For The Handicapped My husband and I had 4 days booked in a handicap accessible room at Quality inn Boonville MO from Sunday June 16 to Thursday June 20. This concerns that stay. I am on a walker. I need handicap accessible, my wife called ahead to confirm you had handicap accessible rooms available, and frankly I don’t know how it’s called that. The walking space was barely wide enough for a walker, no way for a wheelchair. The shower had one grab bar, shower seat that didn’t really fit, and not even a walk in shower, but a tub! And no grab bars for the toilet area. We don’t expect fresh sheets but the one trash can in the entire room was never emptied. But that’s not why I’m writing. I also use a CPAP machine. When I got to the hotel, I first set it up in the room and all it would do is give me a “code 006” and reset itself once before shutting down. After 2 nights without a useable CPAP machine, we had to leave for back home before we intended to. So we checked out Tuesday June 18, 2 days early. For the “Early Departure Surcharge” it was $69.01, while my leaving early was a medical necessity. On the plus side, all your employees we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were very good too. If you total this up, it was a bad experience.

Location was good but hotel was very dated; won't stay again due to lack of cleanliness We were here for just one night, thankfully. It's a small hotel, the room was very outdated and worn with scratches and nicks all over the furniture. It had a smaller TV than normal. The bathroom door frame was very marked up and nicked. We found a good size centipede crawling up the wall. Walking down the hall at 7 p.m., we could hear conversations and TVs as we passed by other rooms. Discovered a used coffee bag and wet receptacle in the coffeemaker the next morning. It's possible this room wasn't turned after the last guests checked out. Also, all of the outlets in the room were so loose they would barely hold a plug. Housekeeping definitely needs to be addressed, as does front desk staff. We were not greeted or recognized as Choice Gold members which is customary. This location was definitely not up to Choice standards overall.

Parking is atrocious, we will NOT stay there again. When we arrived at 10 pm, the parking lot was completely full, and there were two cars coming in behind us. We ended up parking on the grass in a field near the hotel, and others told us parking has been a constant problem. In getting around the cars parked everywhere, we also damaged one of our wheels on a 2 week old car. The manager was not on site, and later we found out he was in briefly during the breakfast period, but told his clerk to give us their insurance company number, and nothing else, no apology, nothing. The hotel was clean, breakfast was fine.

Do not stay here for any reason In town for a game at Mizzou and there is Nothing quality about this hotel at all. It’s a disgrace to charge 150$ a night for this dump. Dirty lobby, disgusting hallways. The woodwork in the rooms are all scratched up and the room smells musty. Lights burnt out in the bathroom and the towels literally were covered in some type of black substance. What cleaning staff puts those out and thinks that’s ok ??? We are contemplating sleeping in our car for the rest of the night. I do not expect fancy but I expect a hotel room to be clean. This should be shut down. Lights all burnt out in the lobby also. Do not stay here for any reason.

Poor excuse for a Quality Inn Not good, I rated one star because the breakfast was ok. Start off I waited to check in while the desk clerk was sitting in the next room playing on his phone. When he did notice me, not all that friendly. Next the room we had reserved 2 Q with sofa bed. Room had a stale odor, Opened the mini frig the framing fell off, the inside the bathroom door must have had a animal locked it as the finish was all scratched off down to the wood, the sofa bed was pulled out and unable to put back in to use the sofa to watch TV, The hot tub was broke at the pool, lights where off in the pool area the carpet looked dirty, the hallways needed work. The pictures for this motel must have been when it opened not current. It was a poor excuse for the Quality Inn brand. Where in area to go to Budweiser Warm Spring Ranch (enjoyed), should have stayed in Columbia not that much farther away.
