Nice quiet place to stay. Nice, healthy breakfast every morning with lots of fruit and yogurt (the good stuff). The towels were so thick, soft and fluffy. It was within walking distance, for us, to Fenway Park. A parking garage and Whole Foods are not far at all. We actually walked all of the Freedom Trail from here, and to the TD Garden, but we are walkers. Lots of parks nearby. Extremely clean place and very nice people. Quiet neighborhood.

Excellent location When I arrived, the charming host/owner greeted me. He was courteous and helpful, showing me to my room, describing the local area, and providing a quick tour of the B&B's amenities (e.g., breakfast room). There are two buildings: the main reception building and a secondary one. I remained in the second building. I slept in a queen bed with ensuite, and while the room was modest, it was ideal for me. My room was adjacent to a balcony that was open to all guests. I was lucky nobody utilised it! The breakfast was excellent—everything I hoped for and more. I suggest that before booking, study all of the documentation about the B&B to ensure that this is the accommodation you want. Unlike many hotels, it lacks in-room facilities such a microwave, kettle, and coffee maker; nevertheless, it does include a large dresser and an adequate garment rack. Above all, the location was ideal, which was one of the primary reasons for booking. The hosts made our stay both pleasant and convenient.

Affordable, Clean, Well-Located & Friendly B&B The Oasis Guest House is affordable and well-located. This quaint B & B has a friendly and helpful staff and they offer basic, clean rooms with a decent breakfast. When I next return to visit Boston, I will certainly consider returning to the Oasis Guest House.

Exactly what we needed The Oasis's location was ideal for our activities on our weekend in Boston. The room was compact but enhanced by a bay window; it was very clean. Check-in/out was very fast and pleasant. There was no street noise whatsoever. In all, our experiene matched exactly that as described on its site.

A really lovely hotel! Highly recommended I really my stay at the Oasis guest house. Staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They’ve got a sheet you can take with info on local eateries, with details on the types of food there and the address etc. The room was very comfortable. The downside was that the TV didn’t play many channels. I was hoping to watch the Oscars, but the channel that is the Boston equivalent of ABC, WBTV I think it was called, didn’t work. They did have TCM though which was a great alternative and I was very happy. When I arrived, a staff member welcomed me, gave me lots of useful info, and carried my suitcase up for me which I was surprised by but very grateful for. They have a fantastic breakfast selection, and you can make tea in the kitchen area, as well as store items in the fridge (I didn’t do this but it was great to see). You can also use the microwave up until 10pm which was wonderful as it meant that I could get a microwave meal from the local whole foods place and have that one evening instead of another takeaway. There are plates, cups and cutlery etc available to use too. The hotel is situated in a great area. I struggled a little at first to find the street as I didn’t have phone data, but I got my bearings by the second day. There’s a really lovely bagel place round the corner called Manhattan Bagel and Coffee Co. They implement rules in the guest house that are very fair and make it a comfortable stay for all. No excessive noise after 10pm for example which meant that I could get a decent night’s sleep (and I did hear them very politely ask a guest to keep the noise down one night as they were screaming and screeching very loudly). I felt very safe and comfortable staying here. The room was clean and I had everything I needed. I will absolutely stay here again if I come to Boston! A great price and a really lovely place to stay - a real home away from home.
