Over priced for poor quality rooms. The price does not match the quality you get- over priced for poor quality. Beds are the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Comforters are thin, mattress is extremely hard it feels like you’re sleeping on wood planks, pillows are flat and SO uncomfortable. You cant keep your blinds open because the windows look directly into other people’s rooms. Restaurant menu has minimal options. Valet was chaotic and confusing. Definitely one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in in Boston, unfortunately. I was really looking forward to a weekend away at a “nice” hotel.

super cute and great staff Such a cute hotel. Staff is so nice and friendly. Food at the restaurant is amazing as well as the staff. My only complaint is the thermostat in our room wasn’t great. Set to 71 and woke up to 62 and freezing in middle of night.

Friendly place to stay in Boston It was great to visit the Pennyweight hotel in Boston in October. Jasyia recognized me from a previous visit and greeted me warmly. On top of that, Jasyia helped me by fixing a problem I had with my phone. Lots of basketball fans at this hotel.

Beware Beware of the bogus $30 mandatory destination charge. I remember when the charge for checking into the hotel used to be called the room rate, but I suppose it’s easier to make more money by not disclosing the full room rate and then tacking on an additional discretely disclosed charge (if disclosed at all) behind the room rate. Curious as to why they don’t just set the room rate at $10 and then discretely add on a $400 destination charge (if you are going to be shady then own it and go all out). Also, the listing for my room advertised a workstation and there was no workstation in the room except an uncomfortable lounge chair and a tiny end table with about one square foot of surface that sits by the lounge chair. Calling the onsite seating area where you can buy food a “restaurant” is a bit of a stretch.
