Clean Hotel in a good location It was a pleasant hotel in a convenient location. We had a room with two queen beds on the 4th floor. We stayed for one night. I really liked being able to check in using the mobile app. We checked in late and the room was ready and cool. I appreciated that the room had a shower instead of a tub/shower combo. The breakfast was alright. However, there was only one waffle maker for such a large hotel, which caused a long line. The breakfast was typical of a Hampton Inn. I also appreciated the noon check-out time. We had a room above the lobby, but we didn't hear any noise. It was a peaceful stay. If we're in the area again, we will definitely return.

Terrible customer service The customer service was terrible. We are paying a premium to stay at a sub par hotel and were treated with such disrespect. Not to mention the "breakfast" is inedible. I do not recommend this hotel. If you want more details, please contact me directly.

Mostly good- watch out for the bathroom doors! The room and overall experience of booking, checking in, and interaction with staff were good. But, within a few minutes of checking in our 4 year old cut three of his fingers on the bathroom door. The door has a metal rim handle that sinks into the wall when you close it(see pictures). After about 15 minutes of our 4 year old screaming- we put some bandaids on and made sure he had not broken his fingers. When I informed the hotel about the hazard door, they offered us 50 dollars off the room. We later found out this was an error since we pre-paid, so they offered us Hilton points instead. I was really suggesting they do something about the door for safety and reiterated that, and they said they would mention it to management. We just blocked the door so it stayed open for the reminder of our stay.

Not up to the standard I expected We just needed a place to stay so I guess this filled the job at hand. However, this Hampton inn was older and not as clean as I expected after staying in many over the years. There were a lot of corners that hadn’t been cleaned in our room (and the fan vent was filthy) and in the main breakfast area huge cobwebs on one of the lights…nobody has seen that and thought to clean that? It was relatively cheap but then a $5 parking charge??! What? It’s a Hampton inn in the middle of not much New Hampshire? Parking charge?! It made me rethink future stays at Hampton inns across the board that I will actually look into how old they might be and I guess now a hidden fee? It was definitely an uninspiring visit.

Feeling No Pressure The 2 main things needed when staying at any hotel: A comfortable bed and a good shower. Both need work at this establishment. The bed is the smallest “queen” bed ever and is very uncomfortable with dead pillows ( folding them in half didn’t help). The total lack of water pressure in the shower makes it impossible to rinse your hair/body. And it’s hardly a bargain at $250+ for this Saturday night stay.
