Super 8 by Wyndham Bridgeview/Chicago Area

Extra-extra firm mattresses Very uncomfortable bed, hotel was otherwise decorated nicely, staff was friendly, facilities were adequate; but if you cannot sleep on the bed, of what values is all else?

Super 8 - Could be improved with onsite and better management The Super8 in Bridgeview, IL is a fairly decently facility. The location is great. It is convenient to gas stations, eateries, and stores. Its level of cleanliness in the common areas is superb. The housekeeping staff does a good job in keeping the facility clean. Any spillage was immediately addressed. Outside garbage containers was disposed of daily. The hallways was always clean. The room was fairly clean, saw a few dusty spots, the carpet was badly in need of cleaning or removal. It was very spotted. The manager was never onsite during the time I was there and when I spoke with her via phone, she was less than professional. She lacked compassion and understanding. Other than the management staff and possibly a Front Desk personnel, I would highly rate the place. Although, they said no marijuna on the facility, I did smell it often. My room initially smelled of smoke especially when using the heating/ac unit. I don't know if the smell went away eventually or I got used to the smell.

Great 3 day stay. I travel over 100 days a year for my job Andrew stay exclusively in Wyndham properties, so I review each one. The parking lot was clean and well lit on arrival. Check in went smoothly. My room, a send floor king, was very clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows. Entry is via an interior door. WiFi speed was 12.5 megs up, 5.0 down via Ookla. All of the stated amenities were in place, such as the microwave,small refrigerator, and a nice coffee maker with extra coffee. The hotel has a luggage cart. My digital air conditioner/heater worked well. The television had a basic selection of channels and a good picture. The breakfast area is clean. The snack and soda machines are well stocked and take cash or cards. There is no guest laundry or fitness center, but there is a coin laundry just around the corner. Also plenty of restaurants nearby. I was happy with my stay and would book here again if working in the area.

Super 0 Staff is rude, more so Vijay was hard to have a conversation without him yelling and repeating himself and being condescending. Luckily didn’t have to deal with him except for check in and and out. The housekeeper tried to barge her way into our room twice. Even with the do not disturb sign on the door. Luckily had our chain lock on. But that didn’t stop her from yelling into our room to wake us up. What a wake up call that was at 8 am , guess that makes up for the room missing an alarm clock. But still scared the crap out of my girlfriend and I. The beds were comfortable, the room and hotel was kinda dirty. We had white stains on our wall and curtain _

EZ access to Midway Airport and Great Service A nice place to stay for a visit to the southern Chicago suburban area. About a 15 minute drive to Midway Airport. There are numerous places to eat within a short drive or even a walk. We would definitely stay here again.
