Bounced from booked accommodation over Christmas. Saved by Sleep Inn. Booked 5 rooms for 10 person family group for 5 days after disasters with pre-booked accommodation. A relief to find a professional organisation after our (exciting) wanderings on the Dark Side. Rather tight modular rooms have everything advertised and are a little like ship cabins, Perfectly located re Subway and food outlets. "Continental" breakfast better than adequate. All staff friendly and helpful.

Not bad at all! This was our first time at a Sleep Inn, although we’ve been members of the Choice Hotels program since it started and use their credit card. Our stay was free with points. The neighborhood is a bit on the grimmer side, but we definitely felt safe. During the day it was sort of noisy, but at night it wasn’t a problem. Our room accommodated a king bed with room to walk around it, and the bedding was clean and comfortable. We would have preferred a blanket to a duvet, but that’s not a big deal. The closet space was sufficient for our overnight. The bathroom was very clean, the towels good, water pressure and shower, very nice, enough counter space for us. The tv is huge, but expands images, so they distort some, and the control seemed to operate the power aimed at one point, channels at a different one, and volume at a third. Very odd. The refrigerator hummed, so we turned it off, and the nightstand clock was noisy, so we unplugged it. Had we needed either, we would have asked for assistance. In short, it was clean and comfortable. We were welcomed by very pleasant staff. I would stay there again, no question.

Property closing We booked a stay here for March 20-25, 2019 and were contacted on 3/4/2019 and informed that the property was closing - going out of business, so our reservations would have to be canceled. It is too bad because it was in an ideal location for us - only two blocks from our son's apartment in Brooklyn

Very convenient; Nice staff This was our first time staying in Brooklyn. We usually stay in Manhatten but it is so expensive! Transportation to and from LaGuardia is 30minutes -an hour depending on the time of day. The hotel desk clerk arranged for transportation to the airport through a car service. Cost was $50 plus tip. The room was small-ish as is usual NY fare. Housekeeping services were great. Bed was comfy. Shower was great after long days in the city. The desk clerks were so very nice and I wish I had gotten their names so I could recognize them. The subway is 3.5 blocks away. Take the R straight into Manhattan. There are a variety of eateries in the neighborhood (most on 5th street. We will stay again!
