Clean and quiet hotel Nice hotel. Clean and quiet with comfortable bed and reasonably quiet AC. Complementary breakfast was complete as you would expect. Small dining area but it was empty when we went to eat around 8:00 AM. Plenty of on site parking. Fast food restaurants are within walking distance. Convenient to gas stations and Interstate 40. Seems to run pretty lean on staffing, but our needs were few and we didn’t have any issues.

Perfect for road trip Stopped over to get some sleep on the I-40 stretch of a long road trip - this hotel was perfect in every way. Beth at the front desk was super nice and made sure everything would be smooth for a middle-of-the-night check-in - special thanks!

Does not accept debit card Made a reservation only to show up at 9:30pm to find that they only accept credit cards or cash payment. I don’t have a credit card. They told me I could go to the gas station and take out $300 in cash to pay the $177 for the room and $100 deposit (refundable). I didn’t feel comfortable doing that. Offered to show my bank balance as proof of funds. Offered to pay via work CC or husbands work CCs but they wouldn’t do that since the physical cards weren’t with me. (my employee has the company card for their travel on same day). Because I made the reservation that day, the cancellation policy was to charge my DEBIT card, the one I gave at the time of reserving, for the full price. Had to call corporate and get them to cancel it without charging me. So, corporate would charge me for not staying, but onsite they won’t let me pay for staying, all with the same card. Ended up going across the street to a motel, but I don’t like motels while traveling alone as a woman. Only other option was to backtrack 50 miles to nearest hotel. Didn’t sleep. I’ve never paid cash for a hotel in the United States. Shady. Great property if you’re looking to cheat, traffic people, or launder money. Law enforcement was contacted since I-40 is a known pipeline for trafficking people. Cash only=no paper trail.
