Walking distance from Gateway International Bridge to Mexico Excellent location. Walking distance to any place you need. 3 blocks away from the bus station, subway restaurant,mc Donald's, wing stop, Church's. It is located in downtown Brownsville. Very convenient if you are walking traveling to Mexico. The front desk service was excellent. It is a cheap hotel but useful because my trip was to attend 2 appointments in Mexico.

the room next to me was a crack room left trashed The office closes at night and on Sunday. The hotel desperately needs an update. When we were there the room next to us checked out. But housekeeping said this was a crack user who rented. We saw a minimum of over 20 bags of trash. Even boarder patrol asked us why we were staying there because it's not safe. The breakfast consisted of bananas & doughnuts with coffee. REALLY DISAPPOINTING

Who let the dogs out? Who...Who ? Hold onto your tail pipe when entering the parking lot. Try to avoid the 'sink hole'. Amenities are minimal. The swimming pool is filled with dirt and is now an outdoor hedgerow. Continental breakfast consists of coffee, juice, day-old donuts. Choke it down if you can! Room quality : lacking - no security chain or deadbolt. hot water is available ...sometimes. We noticed an unusual odor , a stench of stale tobacco smoke, cheap perfume...The A/C unit starts up with a screeching noise and then settles into a loud pounding , like a jackhammer Front desk and staff were friendly. Front desk does provide soft drinks , for a nominal charge. (No vending or ice machines).

What A Dump Yet another hotel advertising to be pet friendly, but nothing over 20 pounds, so we were denied a room. Al lady doesn't like to share, but Hyacinth is 73 pounds. Before we even got to the denial the desk clerk wanted me to go look at a room, because he was tired of booking people in, taking them to the room, and then having them leave. The pool was empty, no more ice machines, and despite the name, there are no suites.
