Caravan of chaos. From Oregon to Florida. Moving the family across the country. 9 adults 1 child 4 cats 3 dogs 3 cars a U-Haul with a trailer. We had the worst luck possible with finding rooms. Disgusting hotels dirty drug infested terrible employees. We arrive in Bunkie, exhausted at each other's throats ready to give up and go back. The staff there were the greatest most helpful accommodating rooms were beautiful.. We thought we had given up on friendliness and helpfulness. They made us all feel so welcomed. From the moment we arrived they kept our spirits up made us laugh even after having got lost and back tracked 20 minutes. It was worth it. If we ever go back that way we definitely would stay there again.

Zero stars! Never ever again. My husband booked this room in his families home town, big mistake. Dirty, dated and riddled with vagrants and shady people. The carpet is filthy, the furniture is filthy, the bathroom was dirty with mildew and holes in the wall. To add insult to injury, the bed linen had holes in it. Lastly, the towels were not matching sets and were hard as a rock. The cheapest bath towels and wash cloths I have ever seen at a hotel. I only stayed because of my husband and his family. The nearest decent hotel was over 30 minutes away. Don’t be fooled, this location is disgusting.

Mildew/mold terrible room I came in without a reservation and the night attendant on 2.5.21 was sweet and caring as I had a passing of a family member. However, the room has mildew/mold in bathroom. No handsoaps, no trashcan the toilet was dirty. The microwave was dirty inside all over. The TV was broken lines rolling up the screen on all channels. Hairdryer looked melted and dirty.. couldn't use it.. the housekeeper bangs on my door at 9 am of I was checking out and I had a do not disturb sign on. I said I was checking out and she began vacuuming the hallway and hitting the vacuum against my room door. This was a terrible experience and I am checking in to another hotel today because of this. I will not return.

Pick somewhere else Where do I start? The stained ceiling, the nasty bathroom floor, the stained carpet, the plastic covered lamp shade...? Everything was gross. But it was the closest thing to where I was working that wasn’t booked after the storm. There were people shouting in the hallway all day. People screaming in the rooms. I did like the rebranding of the “room items for sale” that was clever. I did not like the sound of someone trying to enter my room at 2:30 am. Glad I used the metal latch when I came in for the evening. Only thing that prevented entry.... because the door opened. It wasn’t just a handle wiggle. Someone had a key to my room.
