Dishonest We pulled in at midnight and didn't have any access to phone service so we were unaware of the reviews. The sign out front said free breakfast. We were later told that they were not offering breakfast due to covid. They told us they only had 1 smoking room available for 150. I said we didn't want smoking so could we get it for less. Sure $130. We walk into room 108 and it is the worst smell ever. I sit on the bed and I can feel the board throught the mattress. We go back to the front desk to get a refund, but the man said that he just recieved a concelation and a non smoking room was open. 204 had better smell and thicker beds, but I agree with previous reviews that said their were stains on the sheets. Everthing was just sneaky. I wasn't a fan.

overpriced! this is the only hotel in Calhan :-( NIGHT AFTER NIGHT THE PARKING LOT IS EMPTY AND NOW I KNOW WHY! The sheets had stains and hairs on them and towels were tiny, stained and dingy and pillows smelled like a dirty man. carpets were dirty. the fixtures like sink and bathtub and furniture were all nice and but beds we're not comfortable I could feel the springs. The little shampoos they leave are a nice touch but the water is too soft it feels slimy and my dog took one drink and threw up. DONT LET YOUR ANIMALS DRINK THE WATER. They advertise one price for animals included but then charge you more when you check in without warning! The door wouldn't close all the way and latch at night! Staff was cordial but referred to me as customer not guest. (explained alot) everyday my key stopped working around 9:00 a.m. when check out is 11:00. no breakfast. I think these people might just be using this place as a tax write-off because they certainly aren't into hospitality. I really liked the layout and location of the hotel I wish they would sell it to someone who cares about their guests!

0/5 stars 0/5 stars. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The customer service and management is terrible. The family running this place is very rude. You can hear everything through the walls. The carpet was covered in dog hair and my kids couldn't pass a ball in the grass because it was filled with dog poop. I need to check out a couple days early because of a change in plans, and they refuse to refund it and never disclosed that the price was non-refundable. While heading out the door, they scoffed. The breakfast bar and ice machine have been closed the entire stay, even though it's included with the price. They didn't offer a replacement or discount for this. Housekeeping was supposed to stop by once a week, and we're lucky if they do once every 2 weeks. I've had to call the front desk when I needed toilet paper, towels, etc. and they tell me to call the housekeepers room directly and ask for it and she says she'll do it the next day cause she's already winding down for the day.. So I just started buying my own. The refrigerator in the room is broken and it won't freeze anything, so don't try to. The room door and bathroom door don't close properly. The shower curtain rod is broken. The lamp shade is broken. The drawers were dirty, and I had to clean them myself when i got there. There's 2 chairs and they both have stains on them. Someone booked the room next to me and I heard them say "what's that on the bed?!" And they immediately left... so there's that, too. I would NOT stay here again, and I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. This is the longest review I've ever written... but I don't want anyone else to experience this. Wait until you get to the next town.

Do not stay here! Every review that everyone has written is true! From the parking lot full of snow and drifts to the dirty bedsheets with bugs. This place has not been taken care of nor do they care. They throw their mattresses out the back and leave them there to get covered in snow. They accept dogs but charge for them. No coffee in the room and the continental breakfast doesn’t start till 7:30 and consists of bread, cereal, package pastries, coffee, oj and milk. We were the only ones there. When we got our room I thought it was because it was early but nobody else ever came. Nobody has been there because nobody has driven in the snow. You had to walk through the bank of snow to hall your suitcases to the room. The rooms are very dirty. I wish I had read the reviews first I would of gone to Colorado Springs which isn’t very far.

BED BUGS!! RUN-BED BUGS! My daughter woke up with bites all over her the morning after we stayed here. After going to the front desk to ask what he thought the bites could be from, his response was ''bedbugs but not to worry because we were going home anyway. " and was not concerned.
