Average but suitable An average motel but clean and reasonable. 30 minimum to caves. Reception was ok, breakfast was basic but included. It’s in the approach in to Carlsbad coming from Tucson, and easy to get to the main strip by car to restaurants. Worth a night or two.

Nice, basic hotel Our room was clean and basic. There are somethings that have been renovated but they still need to do more. The pluses are: big room, clean, quiet location. The bed was too hard for me but my husband loved it. Some minuses are: The door to the outside seemed a little not safe, we wedged the chair under the handle at night. The room needs more lighting, just two small bedside lamps. Some of the items shown for breakfast weren’t available (pancakes, orange juice). The room was big enough for a table and two chairs, I would suggest that would be a good addition. There was one desk chair. We asked for another but didn’t get one.

Traveling through experiencing stays in Hotels. The pillows super soft, comfortable. The breakfast excellent, including the staff. Beautiful attendance, customer service both night and day. The building and environment, can't ask for more better because it's there. Thank you, enjoyed it.

Never again Good location and comfortable bed. The property is now called Hometown Inn & Kitchen. The property needed renovations and was in the process of doing so. The refrigerator had leftover spilled and dried up food. The full breakfast was anything but. The pancake machine had an error code that stated it needed a new bag of batter. The juice machine (Apple/orange) did not work. There was no fruit. The only employee there was continually on his phone seated in the lobby. We left to get breakfast elsewhere.

This place and staff are trash By far the dirtiest place I've stayed in not worth it my car is way more comfortable and clean if I could give this location zero stars I would and the front desk rep was no help there isn't any cleaning staff apparently no air conditioner in the unit cause it's broken this place is trash !!!!! Just sleep in your vehicle
