In town for a baseball tournament at Lakepoint. Great location and many places to eat. The room was recently remodeled totally and it was beautiful. Room 432. Maid service daily without requests. We ate breakfast there every day (4 mornings) the food was fresh and delicious. The entire staff was very efficient and accommodating.

CRIMINALS!!!! NO Air conditioning!! Awful customer service. Hilton did nothing to help. NEVER will stay at a Hilton again. So disappointed. Had to pay a ton of money for a last minute reservation at another hotel. Got completely screwed and have been a Hilton customer for years. So bummed out. Will never stay at a Hilton again.

Good! Is this an older property? Yes. But it is clean, comfortable and was great for our weekend stay. It’s right off the main drag in Cartersville so there are many places to eat and shop right out the front door. Anything you might want or need is very close by. It’s actually a block off the main road so it was very quiet as well as convenient. The room was a good size, bed was comfy and shower had good water pressure. Microwave and fridge in room. Our coffeemaker did not heat water properly, but you can get free coffee in the lobby. The only negative thing I will say is that I wish they would add breakfast to the cost of the room like most hotels in this class instead of making you pay extra for it. It’s just not worth an extra $12 pp. You do get some credit if you are a Hilton member, but there is Waffle House, IHOP and a few other options just a stones throw away that are much better to choose from. The staff was good. I enjoyed getting texts from Antonio and Precious to make sure everything was good. Knowing they were easily reached if something were to go awry was nice. All in all a good stay!

ROOMS HAVE ROACHES! STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE! My family travelled from South Florida to Cartersville for a wedding. We checked into this hotel on December 28th and initially found quite a few lady bugs & stink bugs on the window sill. I wasn't happy with that but understand that these bugs exist in North Georgia and are harmless. However, after about a half hour or so of being there, I discovered a large roach crawling across the middle of one of the beds. My mother, who is 85 years old, had the room next to ours and also had several roaches in her room. My 2 aunts and 2 uncles, also all 80+ years old, were staying here as well but we all checked out after seeing the roaches in 2 of the rooms. As a result of having to find another hotel to stay in, we missed the rehearsal for my nephew's wedding which was quite disappointing especially since my mother, who is my nephew's only living grandparent and was in the wedding party, missed quite a few of the photos taken at the rehearsal. The front desk suggested that perhaps this was a palmetto bug and said that no one had ever complained of roaches before. I have lived in South Florida for over 30 years and am well aware of what a palmetto bug looks like. They sent a maintenance worker to the room with a spray bottle who not only confirmed that it was a cockroach and not a palmetto bug, but also did not seem to be surprised at all as if he was already aware of a roach problem in the hotel. We ended up booking 4 rooms at the Home2 Suites by Hilton but had to pay double the price. Because my mother and aunts/uncles are all seniors, this created an unexpected financial obligation which they were not prepared for so I had to pick up some of the additional cost for them. The hotel manager at the Home2 Suites said that this hotel needs to be completely closed and fumigated in order to get rid of the roaches. Since the hotel seemed to be aware of the issue before we got there and apparently did nothing (or at least did minimal pest control treatments which were unsuccessful), I doubt that will happen and therefore cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. I have never left a negative review about anything but felt strongly about warning others because in addition to being just plain disgusting, roaches carry all kinds of diseases, are easy to bring back home on clothing or in suitcases, and are hard and very expensive to get rid of once you have them. Please stay somewhere else when in Cartersville.

I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone! This hotel has been my place to stay in Cartersville while visiting family; however, based on my last two trips, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. There is a visible lack of normal maintenance. The carpets are torn by the doors in several rooms, and the rooms smell musty. After my last visit, I thought that I would not stay there again, but we decided we would give it another try. We checked in yesterday. When we got to the room I discovered many dead bugs in and around the window. I took pictures and asked the housekeeper why they were there. She spoke no English whatsoever so she could not help me. We immediately went to the front desk and asked for another room. When we got into the second room, it was time to eat with family, so we just left our bags in the room. I looked around and did not see bugs, but I did see suspicious brown debris on the window in the same area where I found the bugs in the first room. Still I thought it might be okay. When we were ready to retire upon our return to the room, I turned down the bed to find long dark hairs in the bed. I have blonde, short hair, and my husband has light brown, short hair. I returned to the front desk and asked for a manager. I was told there was absolutely no manager on duty. All the managers were “on vacation”, according to the representative at the desk. My husband and I left to stay elsewhere. I will not give this hotel another chance. While visiting family in the area, I will find another place to stay from now on.
