Mountain Scenery and Comfort When you live in a place that is flat, you welcome any getaway that includes hills or mountains. It’s something you don’t see very much when you call the coastal plains your home, and it makes for a more memorable trip. One hotel that provided this much- needed change of scenery for me was the Hampton Inn in Caryville, Tennessee. Located near interstate 75, this hotel is nestled right next to mountains and depending on your room, you may end up with an open view of the mountain range. If you like, you can choose to go outside, in the front of the hotel, and sit on one of the chairs or swings where you can soak up the mountain views and fresh air. This is what I did when I visited. I spent almost an hour just swinging back and forth, gazing at the natural beauty. Inside this Hampton Inn, one will find clean, comfortable rooms. Each morning, you can enjoy the complimentary breakfast, which includes an assortment of cold and hot foods, all you can eat. I liked starting my mornings here, serving myself scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, and yogurt before beginning my adventure. Besides cleanliness and comfort, another important factor in any hotel is the service and I found the service here to be very good. The staff went out of their way to make my stay as enjoyable as it could be. I was also happy to discover that the hotel has a business center because I had some work that I needed to do that was better accomplished on a desktop pc than on my mobile phone. It's a refreshing change to see mountain scenery. Ask anyone who lives in flat terrain and they will agree. With the Hampton Inn Caryville, Tennessee, you get the mountain scenery that flatlanders crave, along with great service and comfort. It adds up to a highly recommended place for lodging in east Tennessee.

Beware- urine odor in our room- non-pet room. Beware- we checked in- the front desk rep was nice - it was a rather quick check in process. She told us that in 2 hrs they would have fresh baked cookies in the lobby for guests and she said the fresh baked cookie smell would be wonderful. We went to our room. Note- we had stayed in the area over the last week (relocating) and this hotel was the most expensive- but we splurged for the whirlpool tub, fireplace, and king suite room since it was our last night. We got inside the room and as we unpacked we started noticing an overwhelming awful urine odor. This hotel accepts dogs and we love dogs- but I thought those with pets were in certain rooms only? My husband is mildly allergic to dog hair and as time went on the urine smell got worse and he started having a mild allergic reaction. The fresh baked cookie smell never made it to us- the urine odor was so potent. The mantel above the fireplace was loose. The whirlpool tub was old and rusty and the tub had stains (so I did not use it). I tried to hang a towel and the towel hook broke off. I tried to grab a tissue and the 1 tissue remaining was stuffed in the box. I was highly disappointed and will not be back.

Clean Room With A View Beautiful clean room with a view. Large parking lot and designated space for trailers. Large warm breakfast with a hardworking staff member, keeping it clean and stocked through the busy weekend rush. My room was near an exit door, and I could hear it open and close through the night. I would stay here again, but I would request a 2nd floor room next time.

Great location off I-75. Facing mountains and close to park. Traveling home from MI, we decided to stop for the night. We were able to walk-in and get a room for the night. Average hotel room but we did have a balcony facing the pool. The hotel facing the lake with plenty of areas around the hotel to sit and relax. Rooms with balcony do face the mountains so if staying, book in advance for views. Definitely would be a nice view in the Fall looking a mountains! Friendly staff.

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ My husband and I stayed here on our way home from South Carolina.we only planned to stay one night but because of our experience we stayed an extra night !the staff absolutely wonderful and Pleasant! 6 pm each evening they made cookies and put them out for guest to enjoy ,the breakfast is a full course breakfast ,100 % for cleanliness no dirt no hairs no bad odors !the pool is clean !the view is breathe taking !we are already looking forward to our trip next year to stay here again!!the rate of room is very fair!THANK YOU MANAGER BRENDA AND TO EVERY EMPLOYEE THERE HOUSEKEEPERS AND ALL YOU ARE AWESOME AND WE WILL RETURN IN FUTURE!their saying is on the entrance wall and on the welcome mat which says MAKING YOU HAPPY MAKES US HAPPY and that is exactly how you made us feel!!!
