Sonesta ES Suites Charleston

Fabulous Stay This was our first time renting at this place. The check in was easy and we were thrilled at the room we were assigned. It was like staying in an upscale apartment with everything needed. There was a full refrigerator a dishwasher, garborator and separate bedroom and washroom. There were 2 big screen TV's and several places that you could order from and have them delivered to your door. The bed was very comfortable, and the place was spotless. We ordered a pizza from Gino's pizza and it arrived very quickly. There was free parking and a full breakfast next morning. It also was dog friendly at no extra charge, I would highly recommend this property that is situated very high up on a hill and is very private.

Family trip We visited Charleston for our daughter’s event with the WVU School of Medicine- Charleston division. The suite was very nice, location was great , staff was outstanding. They ran out of hot breakfast food an hour before breakfast was over… but it was still a great stay. I forgot part of my luggage and they shipped it to me. If we stay in Charleston WV we’ll stay here again.

Rooms are tired I've stayed at this hotel for over 20 years and won't be back until they renovate the rooms. The last 5 years, every room I've had was in some need of repair. From sagging and stained furniture to clogged toilets, to bugs and lizards in the room. Pros are staff is usually friendly and location is close to airport. And free parking, but cannot stay again unless rooms are improved.

The BEST stay in Charleston, WV! My husband and I were passing through Charleston and spent a night at the Sonesta ES Suites. What a delightful stay! The hotel is located in a lovely spot, up in the hills outside of town in a wooded area. It is in a business park away from major traffic patterns and is very quiet. We saw deer driving to and from the property multiple times during our stay. It was easy to get back and forth from the State Capitol area of downtown. We were provided with a wonderful suite that was very spacious and modern. It was very clean, with a full kitchen area and bistro table for two, a large bathroom, a sitting area with sectional and office desk, and a separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed and pillows. All the staff was very friendly and happy to help in any way they could. (Thank you for the shower cap!) Special thanks to Katie for being so nice and answering all my questions when I made our reservation! There is a complimentary full breakfast with many hot and cold options (including a pancake machine!) and plenty to choose from. The fitness room was appropriately outfitted and good to use after a full day on the road. The layout of the property is amenable to those desiring ground-floor lodging access, with multiple keyed doors so that your car can be close for load in and load out. It’s great value for a good night’s sleep! Thank you for a very restful stay in a beautiful environment!

Perfect for our fam! Wonderful hotel with unique and affordable rooms with friendly and genuine staff. Amazing FREE breakfast. Affordable and a perfect set up for our three generations. Two bedrooms with two bathrooms and a pull out sofa worked perfectly to meet everyone’s needs. Would absolutely stay again!
