Amazing stay! I stayed with my fiancé for 2 nights recently and it was the best hotel experience I have ever had, the staff were amazingly accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in a standard room it was still so luxurious! The bed was huge and comfy, attention to detail with a cute flower on the toilet roll as we walked too. The pool was so peaceful and both night was never over crowded, I am pregnant so I unfortunately couldn't experience the sauna or steam room but my fiancé loved it! The locker rooms were nice and clean and definitely spacious as well. We visited the squires restaurant that's on the hotel grounds and the food alrhought a little more expensive than if usually pay was absolutely excellent, the staff in the restaurant were so lovely as well, very accommodating to my dietary requirements for someone who's pregnant. I will definitely be back again for another amazing stay!

Daylight robbery Stayed at the bridgewood 3 nights. The car parking charges are ridiculous, a excuse for the hotel to make more money by taking a backhander from the parking company, the £50 deposit on the room is wrong, no other hotels in the area do this, and if they try and tell you otherwise they are liers. The drinks prices are extortionate. Since when do you go to the bar and get charged 10% for a barman doing his job and pouring it, £14.00 a glass of wine 7.50 for a beer plus 10% what a rip off, didn't even get asked if I wanted to forgo the charge they just slap it on. The whole place is a complete rip off.

Clean and comfortable rooms I stayed for 2 nights on business and had a great experience. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable and the amenities were excellent. I used the pool which was small but well maintained. The restaurant food was very good as well as breakfast which was well stocked and of good quality. Overall a very good place to stay.

Great stay!!! Such good value for money. Beautiful stay. Lovely spa facilities. Great staff. Food lovely. Breakfast is very good and high standards especially for a buffet. Very well kept grounds. Hotel is modern and has an expensive feel/taste. Will definitely be returning. Was my dad’s 60th birthday and there was 15+ of us and the staff made it really special. Table decorated lovely. Very clean rooms. Comfortable beds.

Disappointing Afternoon Tea Booked an afternoon tea for a birthday. When we arrived we weren't greeted or offered any tea or coffee to start us off. We waited for approximately 45 minutes before a member of staff offered us drinks. After a further 30 minutes, our afternoon tea arrived, which was lovely. the food arrived which was lovely. None of the staff checked on us, we had to go to the bar to ask for morr drinks. e waited for 15 minutes for a memver of staff to take our order and then had to go to the bar again to ask for clean cups. When the tea arrived, we asked for clean cups again, as some of us had coffee first and didn't want to use coffee cups for the tea. We waited 20 minutes and went back to the bar to ask for clean cups again. The cups arrived after a further 10 minutes. Food was lovely but the service was very poor. We were charged a 10% service charge but asked for it to be refunded, as we didnt get good service. Staff were chatting and changing posters, etc. while we had been waiting for clean cups, etc. we were all very disappointed with the service as there were only 6 of us and the bar and seating area were not busy. We had pre-booked and had hoped the hotel would have been more proactive. Will not be recommending.
